Woodland walks near Limassol/lower Troodos area

Postby BerkshireScouse » Sat Oct 21, 2017 9:22 am

Hi

Can anyone recommend any walks in the area north-west of Limassol up to the Troodos foothills, through deciduous (rather than coniferous) woodland, which show off Autumn colours to their best effect? Preferably not too far (about 5 miles) and not too difficult or muddy. Just long enough to walk off a Sunday lunch.

Many thanks in advance.

Could be a bit difficult if you have a dog.

Not too much deciduous woodland local to Limassol....one either has agricultural land, or the bondu with low scrubby bushes, grassess, etc, and where trees do grow, more in the up,and areas, pines do tend to predominate.
