A few years ago, Mr Clerides strongly advised Mr Anastasiades of the sensitivity of his actions regarding the Cyprus negotiations and that this time would be different. He talked to him about the Recognition of the TRNC, and how any failure of the talks blaming the Greek Cypriots will yield different results that seen in the 1970s, 80s, 90s and 00s. He particularly URGED Anastasiades to ONLY engage in UN talks if he can compromise on the subject of Turkish Guarantees or OTHERWISE to Stay away from it all. Naturally Anastasiades has done the opposite and has now become a laughing stock. The UN IS NOT STUPID, to the extent that they are now even asking for a way forward on the talks, a change of basis, which has NEVER been spoken of before. If this is what Anastasiades actually wanted behind closed doors than a take my hat off to him as he has achieved it - but if it's not, then he is in big trouble with his internal political spectrum! One thing I do know for sure is that NO TALKS WILL EVER COMMENCE unless there are now strict timelines in place and an End timetable if no agreement is reached. The TRNC is will to bend on the sensitivities of the Greek Cypriots from yesterday, and the UN know it, while the ball is in Anastasiades' court. If he doesn't accept or sensitivities too, then it looks like he will be blamed as the biggest traitor of the Greek Cypriots - unless of course it's a clear Two State agreement he's always wanted, hence perhaps why he was a strong advocate of the Annan Plan in 2004 (how he acted against President Papadopoulos back then)!

We predicted ages ago that there was a greater chance of Turkey getting partitioned than Cyprus!

You see, in the case of Cyprus it’s up to us and you ain’t getting jackshit guaranteed but in the case of Turkey there are many players now at her border and even Israel yapping from a distance for the establishment of a Kurdistan.

Add to that the likelihood of Merkel failing the election and the gloves are off between the EU and Turkey!

I see only one direction for you MrH and it’s pointing downwards... :lol:

Turkey's Kurdistan issue means nothing to me, like how Greece suppresses its Turkish citizens in Northern Greece by denying their rights to be officially referred to as a"Turkish Minority", which my pressure group has close contacts with!

I am only interested in the TRNC....Period! Stop diviating from the real question by talking about Turkey and a new Kurdistan as you know very well that a new Kurdish state in Northern Iraq would actually be to Turkey's favour and unlike what you are quietly implying. Stop delving into politics that you know absolutely nothing about from your arm-chair!

Turkey knows exactly what it's doing with the Kurds, and in my opinion, a future Kurdistan state would be a fabulous idea in solving their issue!

Stick to Cyprus and stop making yourself look stupid by trying to comment on Turkey's Kurdish question without even knowing how to speak Turkish or have never served in the Turkish military around that area. We spend a great deal of time with Kurdish pressure groups where you would be very surprised how Inline we are with them. It's the Kurds that have been dumped in your Hijacked ROC in about 20 years time that you need to worry about when they become a prominent Turkish-Kurdish minority. Try asking them if they are truly Kurdish or Turkish?

Seriously mate, where were you born? Let's just agree to disagree!

1. Firstly, I am not a Muslim, so the Turkishness aspect is as valid as you Hellenic ideology displayed at every EOKA celebrations day!

2. Your GC ROC is part of the Christian EU Club, while the TRNC is now an elevated Observer of the 56 nation OIC as the "Turkish Cypriot State"

3. Turkey will never join the EU so YOU joining the club has ultimately only benefited you in one way; and that is that you've become a pawn of Germany to shit on! Check your economy and how much every organ of your side has suffered and will suffer more for being an EU member state.

4. Finally, the Talks are now over and to only way to restart them, which is now seeing a concensus from all external parties, is on a state to state basis, thus you've finally, legally, lost Northern Cyprus to Turkey - idiots!

Getting back to stupid Anastasiades, can anyone tell us why he's begging to repair the damage he's done? He is looking awfully stupid on the political front that even Bangladesh ministers are laughing at him! Lol
