Hi,

I was hoping to try and find out some information regarding Cypriots living in the UK in the 1950s. I realise this is mostly a Brits living in Cyprus forum, but i thought I would ask my Qs in here:

- How frequent were passenger ships to and from Cyprus in the 1950s?
- How many per calendar year were likely to set sail?
- In particular, in 1953, how would I find how many left Britain?
- How big was the Cypriot community in Kingston (Upon Thames) in 1953?
- Was % of Cypriots were likely to leave Britain in the 1950s, either to go back to Cyprus or on elsewhere (to the US for example)?

Any insight or help into the above would be most welcome.

Thank you for your suggestions. I will contact the administrators on those websites (I have reviewed a few of the files previously, but cannot find what I am looking for) to see if they have any insight into my Qs.

I doubt you will get a reply if you email any Cyprus government service... but I guess you can try.
