Hello, i am hoping my uncle is joined to this website or maybe somebody knows him and can pass on a message, but i am trying to make contact with my Uncle Stelios Stavrou who is living in Limassol. I think he is in his 50s now and is an Electrician. He's tall and stocky. Ive tried many searches online but i haven't found him yet, and im hoping i will be able to reconnect with my Uncle Stelios through this. I dont have a phone number. Im hoping there isint to many stelios Stavrou's living in Limassol? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Helen

Found these two numbers in the tel. directory:

Thats very kind of you to do a search in the cyprus directory for me as i cannot access that over here. Its to late right now to give those numbers a call, but i dont think the house numbers match the number i have for my uncle. I kind of have an address but i have no idea of the spelling, its something like Gorgio Fastito something (no idea how to spell it) But i will try those numbers in the morning in the hope it could be my uncles number. Opposite his house to the right there was a shop, and a kebab shop around the block. He doesnt live that far from Limassol beach, and next door to him there was a doctors surgery. But this is all many years ago when i would visit Limassol growing up.

I dont actually know how to spell his address as i cant read/speak Greek and my dad who is, cant spell my uncle's address into English. Im spelling my Uncles address with help from the internet after doing searches online with my uncles address, but i honestly dont know if its right after the translation from Greek to English, then using the internet to help with the spelling. So far ive found nothing, and the phone numbers from another previous helpful post was unsuccessful. My dad doesnt think he has a house phone as the number we had years ago was a mobile. Maybe if someone living in Limassol can help and let me know if the address i have typed is an actual place in Limassol, or maybe im spelling it totally wrong? Thanks

"Gorgio Fastito" doesn't even sound Greek. The first one might be "Georgiou". Where do you have the address? Can't you just take a picture of it and post the picture here? so we can read it?

Yes, Georgiou might actually be the correct spelling, thank you. I dont have it written down apart from the way ive spelt it from my dad saying it to me in a very strong Greek accent.
