Thank God it’s over because I’ve just about had enough of this useless APOEL… my face hurts from months of cringing! :?

Hopefully I won't see them again for a few years.

Onwards and upwards with Apollon…

Tonight at 8:00 pm - Europa League - Group E

Apollon Limassol vs Everton FC

Tonight is our LAST CHANCE to restore some of our lost football honor, which you can watch on RIK2 I believe.

As much as I feel for my pseudo-Cypriot friend Kurupet <-- :( for me Cyprus always comes FIRST so nothing less than the complete destruction of Everton is desirable.

I have faith in Apollon’s attacking prowess especially in front of their home crowd, and look forward to a strong thumping of the enemy! :D

Although I’m not sure where it’s to be played… AEK Arena or GSP? :?

See you here after the match boys and girls, where as per usual I’ll either be praising or cursing out Apollon!

Addendum:

Unlike boring APOEL’s useless one-trick pony (Pote/Camargo), Apollon has an impressive array of goal scoring stars that can convert half-chances including…

Sachetti, Da Silva, Zelaya, Pedro, Papoulis, Schembri, Sardinero, Jakolis, Maglica

Most of which are available for tonight’s match! :D

If you like to watch good attacking football, Apollon is the team to watch in Cyprus.

Spartak Moscow doctor Victoria Gameeva bans sex before Liverpool match.

"Spartak Moscow will likely need to beat Liverpool to stay in Champions League", she said.

Final result Liverpool 7 Spartak 0

I hope Apollon will win; Everton's reserve squad is still strong though...

What a fucking embarrassment this turned out to be… even with 100 chances our players can’t seem to get it in the net although that ref was an ABSOLUTE CUNT disallowing our goal in the first half and then purposely dodging a clear penalty with that handball made by the Everton defender, so that’s TWO goals we were denied!

Anyway, all in all supporting Cypriot teams in EU tournaments is very painful because we’re lacking the finishing skills for such levels and I’m just gonna have to seriously reconsider if it’s worth following next year because it’s quite time consuming and usually a most unpleasant experience. :?

It’s very easy being a Barca or Madrid supporter when such teams win 99% of the times; all you ever get is happy times, but for the rest of us and especially Cypriot team supporters it’s just a fountain of pain! :?

And with this post I close this now useless thread and may not start another next year. So long people… :|

PS: For the record this year I watched (counting Group Stage only)…

95 minutes x 12 matches = 19 hours of misery! <---

  You are taking it to seriously. Its just a game. The fact that for such a small country we even compete at such level just shows how talented Cypriots are! ... I am just kidding... there are hardly any Cypriots in our teams these days. Trying to compete at that level for such a small country just shows how stupid Cypriots are wasting so much money to buy foreign players so that "we" can compete in such leagues :?
