Tonight at 8:00 pm :
Europa League - Group E

Apollon Limassol vs Lyon

There's no reason why Apollon cannot take the home win for they are aggressive going forward and have plenty of scoring talent to do the damage and after all.. they have beaten APOEL three times in a row in their most recent domestic confrontations and that's gotta mean something!

Apollon's downside is a clumsy defense and sometimes aggressive play that can cost them, but I nonetheless predict a home win by a small margin.

I have to fill in for Kurupet by announcing Apollon’s 1-1 draw because our friend is busy crying in his bedroom over some useless toffee team getting hammered.

Berastika sou Kurupet… :(

And while I’m on the subject I’d like to report a conflict of interests on the 28th September and 7th December, when Apollon meets Everton and request that Kurupet the Brit be removed from the match reporting roster altogether! :?
