They must defend better in Denmark.

Much better, 3-2 is not a good result.

AEK basically gave the match away with a dumb foul outside the penalty box and later a dumb handball.

And as if that wasn’t bad enough Trickovsky proved utterly useless in finishing chances that anyone else would’ve converted!

Victoria was a very beatable team but a dumb AEK gave it all away.

As for Apollon… you’ve all mentioned their useless defense but they are good going forward.

They can both still progress to the next round if they can avoid dumb mistakes next week.

Aek

There's only one team that has the DNA to handle Europe. One team that wipes the floor consistently with ANY Greek team at home and away. One team that beat the likes of Atletico, Lyon, Porto, zenit that doesn't lose to the Chelsea's and Shaktars...one team that goes to Barcelona and plays the shit out of them till the last quarter of the game for a draw in Barcelona. One team that went to the top 8 of the Champions League. And it doesn't matter if there's a shit coach, a shit bench or a shit striker. What matters is that this team, expects to win on every game. The crowd doesn't let it forget that. This is why over the past 10 years we've only missed out on group stages twice.

Smaller teams like aek, ael and Apollon will have successful years sometimes but they're all still fireworks. They don't have the consistency that Apoel has held over the past 10 years in Europe.

Care to explain then why Apollon always whoops your arse? Haven't you been beaten by them enough times already?

If you think apoel will play hard for that tin super cup with a Champions League qualifier right after you know less about football than you do about women.

Defeats in the playoffs of the league last year where done after we had already won the league re numbnuts....

Oh and btw I'd want both these minions in group stages. Apoel has been playing in Europe well into spring every year and winning the title at home. Let's see what Apollon and aek can cope with.

Apollon's goalkeeper is not bad, but the two center backs and the defensive midfielders are a f* joke.

Both goals were scored from the same player in counterattacks. :x

Like last year, against that Swiss team Grasshopper... déjà vu?
