I wouldn’t expect rom you to judge correctly who is a loser and who’s not in this forum. You only wrote 4 posts two of which are copy-paste from each other, the 3rd was a "thank you" and the last one your reply here.
For me there’s something wrong when a person who is expecting a child , seems to worry so much on what her name is going to be. You are simply putting the cart before the horse. You should currently worry for the well being of the mother and the baby at the time of labor than what her name is going to be.
Secondly why don’t you tell what your real problem is? Is it really because "both of you" are wondering about the already chosen name?? Or is it because "you" did not really agree with your wife and try to collect opinions from the internet to convince her to change her mind? Or is it the other way round?
A clever person would go on and search the Internet on the psycho-sociological effects of a person’s name in developing a personality. You would find that people with stupid names, stupid they become, people with funny name funny (and low self respect) they become.Similarly people with identical names e.g Maria, George, Anna, etc seem to have very common attributes.
I already told you my opinion on the chosen name. You want to risk it? Go ahead, do it.
Not too long ago you bragged that you were good at handling people with special mental needs or whatever, yet today you are blind to an excited father-to-be who may just want to share his happiness.
When my first child was born I was so excited that upon returning home I walked from the hospital all the way home (about 12km) without realizing it!
Normally, I would catch two buses for this route but on this occasion my mind was so preoccupied with happiness that I forgot to catch the buses and just kept walking and thinking of the baby!
When I finally got home it was dark but I didn’t even feel tired from so much happiness! Such are the emotions that newborns can cause you.
* For those who know Perth (Australia), I walked from Princess Margaret hospital in Subiaco all the way to Maylands where I lived at the time! To this day I don’t know how I did it!
