Cats are wonderful if you learn and embrace them.

Befirend one or two cats to act as your 'security gaurds'.

It’s people like you feeding them that’s causing garden owners the problem.

Not really, its you creating your own problem.

Your problem is also your solution.

We are forced to hurt cats that become a nuisance because you refuse to let them go into the wild and feed themselves with things they should be eating.

Your spaghetti, keftedes, and makaronia dou fournou is not what they’re supposed to be eating but there are so many twits like you stuffing them all day that they’ve stopped acting like cats and they’ve become useless vermin.

Cats are obligatory carnivores, they dont eat carbohydrates like spaghetti.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of stray cats in urban / residential areas and you wont win this war.

I once watched a docuemntary about people living in a neighbourhood, all retired, with a lot of time on their hands and they all took pride in their gardens. Some fed the stray cats and others had your attitude for similar reasons that you have stated. Those that took your attitude kept getting more of what they didnt want plus a lot of stress. Those that fed and embraced them did not have any of the problems of the other group. The two groups would hold meetings where the ones that were getting shat on would try to persuade the other group to stop feeding them because they are shitting in my garden, blah blah blah. The solution was starring them in the face but they just wanted to get the other group to stop feeding them which would not have solved their problem.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, the group that originally hated the cats learnt to love and embrace them and also left some food out for them. The cats stopped shitting in their gardens and doing the things that they hated. Problem solved.

Are you out of your mind? :? The Cyprus stray spends half its life in filthy dumpsters… they are carriers of all sorts of diseases and far more dangerous than rats. Don’t ever let your kids touch them and neither should you.

Because no one is feeding them and they need to survive so they resort to going through the bins.

Cats are very resilient animals, they will always find a way to survive in any environment.

The cat is probably the next most successful species next to humans.

Cats are champion hunters, expert climbers, loves to play hide and seek and they are world class gymnasts. They can also populate like no other and are very funny.

 When was the last time you saw a real Cyprus stray lurking about? They are easy to recognize… they may have an eye ball missing, patches of fur gone from skin diseases, scratched up faces from fights, filthy and ugly as hell! :?

And you want to “embrace” them? :?

Yeah those ones, unfortunately have been living rough for too long. They are not all like that, you can tell a healthy cat from a sick one on its last legs.

The ones that live around my block are not like that. they are all healthy and relatively clean. I think it is partly because they are looked after by a few of us that live in neighbouring blocks.
