The Greeks have suffered great injustices throughout the times and (in an effort to support the contentions of our much admired forum member who suggests that 'Greece is the Motherland of Humanity') I will put to you all a little known fact which will prove that the Greek nation has indeed been stripped of TWO important attributes which are now claimed by the 'Spaghetti Bending Italians',
Greece (in the 15th century) produced two of the greatest Artistic geniuses the world has ever seen BUT, because of the rivalry and jealousy of the Italian 'Spaghetti Benders' twixt the glory of ancient Greece and the relatively insignificant accomplishments of the 'Roman Empire', a plot was hatched and the result of this plot has survived to this very day.
Young 'Leonidas Tasavidi' was an inspirational artist from his earliest childhood, his intelligent inquisitiveness is noted in a little known document now housed (and kept secret) in the Italian archives.
He tired of life in Greece (where he was born) and journeyed to Italy (Milan) where he knew that his talents would be greatly admired and the rewards might be better for his efforts, you see, the Greeks were quite used to being surrounded by persons of great potential and thus regarded him as just another great Greek in their midst, whereas the 'Spaghetti Benders' fell far short of such greatness and actually enticed 'Leonidas' to adopt their own religion and changed his name to 'Leonardo Da Vinci' in order to deceive the rest of the world.
'Leonidas' (whilst in Milan) heard tell of another aspiring younger artist whose name was 'Michaelis Angelides' who was also a product of Greece and, after some deliberation and persuasion, young 'Michaelis' also found himself in the same position as 'Leonidas' and was subjected to the same name changing ruse as his counterpart, thus he is now known as 'Michael Angelo'.
Positive proof that 'The Greeks' ARE superior and confirmation that anything that was ever any good MUST have it's source firmly embedded in the land of the 'Greeks'.
I hope this snippet of information will encourage others to grant the 'Greeks' the accolades they have (throughout the ages) earned the right to, it is quite tiresome to read of disparaging remarks aimed at the source of they who endowed the world in which we live with the ability to conduct ourselves in a civilised manner.
