Alright guys,

It seems that some of you are relentless in your views that black people are oppressed in the US.

However, many black people will disagree with you and what I can tell you is that there is evidence to the contrary. I would like to see you try have a conversation with Oprah Winfrey or Les Brown about this.

With a victim mentality like this, you will never, ever be successful. Ever. You will remain as a prisoner to your "hopeless" backwards looking mindset.

When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. Where your attention goes, energy flows. You get what you think about. Whether you believe in it or not.

Oprah Winfrey wrote:"I do not know a black man, period, who has not been profiled. I do not know a black man who has not been stopped at some point—including Stedman Graham....There's no black mother that hasn't had the conversation with their son about making the adaption to when you're stopped, having the right demeanor and behavior and going into that. Whatever is necessary to keep yourself alive."

You do not and can solve the problems of having a victim mentality by just denying victimisation exists. Oprah Winfrey does not deny discrimination exists. Les Brown does not deny discrimination exists. Lewis Hamilton does not deny discrimination exists. None of these people, who are black and successful over came discrimination by denying it exits. They are black and they know it exists. They have lived it. You to me appear to deny that discrimination exits or exists to material degree such that it can and does affect outcomes ?

I do not dispute the above but none of that is evidence that discrimination does not exist to any material degree and neither can such denial be a route to reducing it down to a non material level imo.

Absolutely typical. I mean, WTF are you trying to say? Standard Erolz obfuscating bollox. The issue is that people like Hamilton - worth £250,000,000 - are talking hypocritical BS when they preach about the lack of opportunity for black people.

Has Lewis actually looked into the past of Mercedes? Better not - eh? When he takes the pulpit to preach about global warming has he actually researched what part the F1 circus plays in it?

Sorry - I'm interfering with the Erolz personal blog again. Funny - it used to be Lordo. :?

Yes, its obfuscated and conflated bollox.

All these people are mega successful. They are the antithesis of oppression.

All this started because a white police officer killed a black serial criminal. Most people, probably just shy short of everyone agrees that it was wrong.

Now everything is being chucked in to the mix to create an argument and you cant make sense of it anymore.

The problem is not with the black people who needs to make a change. It is the white people who needs to make the change. This is what you are not getting Max and I’m not sure you ever will as a GOP supporter. It is an oxymoron to be a “compassionate conservative”. I know because George Bush Jr. used that slogan. Not very convincing.

Max, when you hand pick some successful black people in different professions to try to justify your argument that black people are in control of their own destiny in America it will be like saying the Jews had control of their destiny in Nazi Germany because Hitler had some Jews as friends and business associates.
