Paphitis wrote:But then saying Trump and Epstein were friends is a major stretch, especially when Trump has made cryptic statements referring to Epstein's antics with under aged minors.
Here is the original 2002 New York magazine article in question. It is the source. https://nymag.com/nymetro/news/people/n_7912/
And yet if you talk to Donald Trump, a different Epstein emerges. “I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy,” Trump booms from a speakerphone. “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”
Not once since that article was published in 2002 has Trump ever denied saying these things.
Paphitis wrote:The Trump presidency has been a great thing in holding this person to account. It's a pity however, that Epstein "committed suicide" in a Federal Prison under very suspicious circumstances.
Trump's record is
1. He appointed Acosta as labour secretary. This is the man who gave Epstein a secret plea deal in 2009 that ended the federal investigation in to Epstein and allowed him to serve a few months with 12 hour a day 'day release' and then go on to sexual abuse minors for another 10 years.
2. He or his AG has now sacked Berman, the New York Southern District AG who finally prosecuted and ended Epstein's reign of sexual abuse of minors and who's ongoing investigation is the one seeking testimony and co operation from Prince Andrew,
These are the facts.
