Now now kikapu.. “ killing 1000+ citizens per year”. Very bold statement and not accurate.. where’s your source?

Now now Ocean, did you know you are 10 times more likely to be killed by the criminal police gang in the USA than by a terrorist?

Sorry I think that's a massive stretch as well and inaccurate.

I also bet you are about 100 times more likely to get shot as a police officer in the States than you would be in Australia. Gun violence in America is a big problem. So many guns. So many illegal guns as well.

Which makes being a copper in America an extremely dangerous proposition. Hence, why they sometimes appear to be heavy handed. Why they are quick to get their guns out until they have verified the suspect is unarmed.

It's got nothing o do with power trips or racism. A bit like Russian Roulette, they would be thinking which one is the guy that is going to pull out a handgun and unleash.

I saw a video recently where the police were apprehending another black guy. They surrounded him with three police cars and more on the way. the guy was an armed robber suspect so they assume he is carrying a gun. They get out of the cars, guns drawn and get the many on his knees with arms on his head. They had 4 guns on his back. They waiting for police back up and when they arrived they carefully approached the many grabbed his hands and cuffed him. Then the guns went down. They body searched him but from what I could tell there was no gun.

A senior officer came as there was a hysterical member of the public yelling to leave him alone and she was asking if the guns were necessary because she felt the police were too heavy. She was also fearful they were going to shoot the suspect. The officer told the lady to please calm down. The man is safe and nothing will happen to him. He told her they have to pull their guns because he is an armed robber suspect and because of that our officers must maintain their safety. He explained to her that the man will be taken to the station to find out what is going on with regard to the alleged crime.

It is not only about racism with the police in the US. They are mostly uneducated ignorant idiots who feel they are free to violates others rights because they can. They are on a power trip in wanting to exert their authority on the citizens with lies and intimidation, mainly on the vulnerable, because they act like gang members with gang mentality. They have a superiority and a inferiority complexes which makes them act like assholes. No surprise why they are called "PIGS", because they mostly stink in what they do. Many shouldn't even be police officers as they were once trained military soldiers, whom some may have psychological issues from actions they may have experienced or just their military training. Soldiers/ex soldiers do not make good peace officers. Their instincts is to kill and destroy.

I may sound anti police, but far from it. I am against the police who act like cunts. I love the police in Switzerland. They are very professional and do not look for an opportunity to violate the citizens rights, beat them up or shoot them.

The elephant in the room here are the strong Police Unions.

They make it almost impossible to sack (or even discipline) a bad cop.

Absolutely CG, which is why the police act the way they do, because they have been given a free hand to do what they like. Same with the prison guards unions. These two unions are in bed together to arrest as many citizens as possible so more police officers are needed, which would require more prisons built and more prison officers, which means more membership equals to more membership dues and more money for the unions. I am hoping that congress with new laws can clip these unions wings and make them and their members accountable for their actions.

US being 4% of the world’s population has 25% of prison incarcerations. What is wrong with this picture?

The union isn't exactly protecting the jobs of those 4 officers or did I miss something?

Usually, unions protect worker rights, and even offer assistance when they get in trouble but they certainly do not defend officers when it is obvious they have done something illegal or killed someone wrongfully from excessive force.

I can guarantee you, if there wasn’t a video of the murder, they would have been on paid leave for couple of weeks and then back on duty.
Yes, even the unions can’t protect them for blatant murder, but more than likely pay for their defense. Cops commit crime against the citizens all the time, but it is hard to prove it as the cops often falsify their reports and their fellow officers who has witnessed such crimes do not rat on them. The whole police force is corrupt to the core as they protect each other, including the district attorney so that the city would not be sued for large amounts of money.

Always film the cops to protect yourself as most are just cunts.

I would say Kikapu that 99.9% of deaths from police are because the suspects they were chasing at the time pulled out guns and got into a shoot out with the police.

That isn't murder.

I’m sorry, but you would be wrong.

Have you guys heard the latest?

Radicals have overrun 6 blocks in Seattle and declared it as an autonomous zone and independent state/country.

Hundreds of protesters have taken over several blocks of Seattle and transformed it into the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, or “Chaz”, helping to amplify nationwide protests while offering a real-world example of what a community can look like without police.

The space has both a protest and street fair vibe, with a small garden, medic station, smoking area, and a “No Cop Co-op”, where people can get supplies and food at no cost. There’s also a trio of shrine-like areas filled with candles, flowers and images of George Floyd and many others who have been killed by police.

So basically, they stole everything in their righteousness and think they will be able to survive there for long.

Democrates are setting themselves up for a land slide defeat at the next elections. The tolerant majority are watching all this and are probably petrified of them governing.

I am interested in what odds the bookmakers set......

Ill be betting Republican....

They put Biden as the favorite.

I checked some other articles and Trump was in the lead up until the corona virus and these protests.

I dont agree with their political analysis as to why Biden is now favorite.

We will just have to wait and see, these odds fluctuate.

...it is not the first time that Trump has asked for personal attention from the military; does anyone remember his inauguration?

Who would in their right mind vote for Trump again unless they hate the US constitution and love fascism instead, just as Trump does.
