Can anyone recommend a great bar, of a nice, pleasant nature, in larnaca, but not in or around the Finnegoudes?

I'm looking to find somewhere I can stroll out to with my partner of an evening that does not involve going down to the sea front of the busy Laiki Geitonia.

I may sound fussy, but I'm not particularly interested in smoky Irish bars, seedy, dodgy joints, places that are invariably empty, and defo not places that have a habit of showing football on 'the big screen'. Or indeed, any screen.

Just a nice, cool place with good drinks and a nice atmos.

any ideas would be most welcome, dear Cyprus Forummers.

Well, there used to be a very nice one on Dhekelia road, if I remember right somewhere after the mexiacn restaurant. It was called "La Tocade". But no guarantee! I haven't been there for at least 4 years now. I'm not even sure if it still exists.
Small place, comfy furniture, small bar with a very decent selection of spirits from around the world. Quiet music. Friendly staff.
