My lap top is about 5 years old. Back in london i used it only at nights mostly copying files extracted from my office computer.
Having used computers for years on end I do not intend to carry on doing so in cyprus but it is handy when researching , booking a flight etc. I use now my Galaxy s7 edge, the best i have so far had and i have taken out a montlhly contact with MTN which gives me 1.5 Gb per cycle. More than enough.
Something else i did not know is that my uk provider , 3, now allows the use of calls, texts, data as part of your uk contract. Calls and texts back to the UK only are now part of your montlly allowance.

15 days since my Jag was crashed and still in ....intensive care unit !! It seems the garage is not that bothered and frankly im not going to let this deflect my thus far total enjoyment, after all i have the use of a courtecy car , one month and 2 days since my long awaired return and boy am I enjoyong it !!! Even the little rain today did not alter my mental happiness one bid.
May i also say what a pleasure it is to no longer on a daily basis witness the black cockroroaches so abundant in London, rather scantily dressed blonde mostly Russian....birds

We had a couple of problems with cars that had to be hospitalised through no fault of our own, with a courtesy car thrown in. The major issue was lack of spares on the Island....which in one case had to come from Japan...even the main dealer could not provide..and that meant we were without one car for nearly three months....

Following the crash and the arrival of the garage boss I was told that all parts wrte available and that the car would be ready by tuesday 9th - Wednesday 10th May. The car was exactly where it arrived at the frontage of the garsge 10 days latet. I asked what was happening and told that the mechanic had yet to check the car !! The damage was at the driver's rear side and apart from the fuel cut off switch which was quicly sorted out by my nephew whom i took there to check , the car was drivable with no apparent engine or geatbox fault. Since my courtecy car is adequate I will just have to be patient.

...curious, what made you choose this particular garage; is there another where you are assured better service?

The crash happened around 11 pm. On going downstairs , in my pyjamas, and after giving the offending drunk driver a peace of my mind, rather colourful it was too, the police who had arrived at the scene asked me to call my insurance company which i did
The insurance on checking my details told me i would be contacted by their nominated garage and a call came immediately after by the garage boss, as i found out later, who soon arrived at the scene followed by a truck loader. Being new to cyprus i just followed instructions . The garage boss appeared to be very professional and very reassuring telling me that a curtecy car would be made available the following day.

...you may, if i am correct, choose the garage; this may be worth investigating.

The courtesy car, is included with your policy, if it is like the insurance i have on my truck; it is not a nicety if you've paid for it..
