Been at my new appartment for 6 weeks now. As most of you know Im a polite sort of man, but not at all tolerant of rudeness and above all sheer stupidity.

My ground floor appartment is located in Ayios Athanasios, Limassol. A nice quite residential road, no through traffic and fantastic views of limassol, the sea and mountains.
There are 3 stray cats in the area, each night they rummage through the rubbish bins and one or two neighbours are up in arms about it. I asked one why the cats attack the rubbish bins, because they are dirty cats, was the reply.
Perhaps they are hungry I responded, just as lions kill in order to survive cats raid the bins in search of food.

Well, I now feed the cats to the displeasure of one or two neighbours and you know what, the bins are no longer raided.
The moral of the story is that all living things need food, its a perfectly natural need.
By the way our 2 dogs are not pleased either!!!!

If what tends to happen around here is anything to go by, your kindness will be rewarded. Soon there will be 6. 8)

All 3 strays are exceedingly nervous , they come in the appartment but will not, as yet, allow me to stroke them, obviously they see humans as adversaries. I will soon have them eating out of the palm of my hand.

My location is superb, no children driving mercs and bmw, no screeching of bikes and horrid cacophony and was I to catch any graffiti piss artists may their god help them !!

Mate you are spot on, almost. Five now !!!
They seem to invite their neighbourhood mates, I give them dry food and they gulp it down !!
At my other flat I had about 6 but there was plenty fish , now it looks as if the sea is empty. Still go every day, only manage one or two, I did though catch an octopus. Gave it to my younger brother who is rather partial to it.

It will not only be the neighborhood strays, but any cat that is in the locality will take part in a free feast, even if fed at home. Our former neighbours' cat used to visit us for food, even though well loved and well fed at home, and ours too used to visit him for food. Indeed my neigbour was the mad cat man of Agios Athanasios, feeding anything up to 10 or twelve local moggies.

Have you taken his role?

He may take over his role, but only if it includes drinking lots of wine!

Mt dear M
Hiw are you?
As you may have seen sometime back I pronounced my very own holy " triada"
Wine - Blondes- and Greek bouzouki music.
Valid to this day !!!

Talking about blondes, I regret that my self and other third have separated, divorce soon !!!
It lasted 7 years, had to make a very arduous and agonising decision, took a few months but I just had to elect what I considered to be the most acceptable to all solution.

I have always been a family man, a loyal husband and father, now of course a grand father.I took me 3 months to reach a decision, some of my family have expressed dismay at my decision but the closests are overjoyed. Difficult to judge whether it was correct or wrong.
At 71 years old I crave for peace and tranquillity even if a sacrifice is much regretted. Im really happy here more so being close tp the grand children.
Once again I find my self without my number 2 triad member, not for long though, plenty of life in the old boy yet !!
