This reminds me of the incident where Lee Rigby was murdered in Woolwich by Islamic nut cases. I made a similar comment as to how we should look at what we have done to them and recognise that we have some (a lot of) responsibility for breeding this hatred.

And guess what ..... almost word-for-word I got the same reply ...... I was told at the time, that trying to understand the reason behind their craziness and lust for revenge ....... was tantamount to rejoicing in the death of Lee Rigby. Some people can put strange interpretations on common sense comments.

IMO: GR's reply was very valid ............ but then the West always consider themselves the good guys and killing their victims children and relatives in their own homes, thousands of miles from their own homelands, or destroying their homes, making millions homeless refugees ........ is just tough luck when considered against the greater political/commercial interest of the US and their allies.
