Do you watch TV?

Postby Pyrpolizer » Mon Mar 20, 2017 12:52 pm

If TV channels would ever count on people like me to get there ratings then they would get something near zero.
While RIK is of some quality the rest are very boring, full of never ending stupid soap operas..
I only watch the 8.20 pm news and the Rising Star music show from ANT1 every Sunday at 9.00 pm

Here some more links for local TV channels:

And here's my favorite singer from Rising Star:

Almost the only TV programme I watch is CYBC's bilingual Greek-Turkish 'Biz-Emeis' programme on beween 7 and 8 in the evening on Mondays to Fridays, and I almost never miss it. I find it very useful both for keeping my listening skills in Turkish alive and also for helping me to pick up a bit of Greek. It is also on at a nice time if I have spent a gruelling extended day at the computer and I can then just sit and relax in front of the screen for an hour. Apart from that, I don't really find there is much on that interests me, apart from the very occasional good film, so that one programme tends to be the full extent of my TV watching nowadays. Which is a good thing, really, because it is not so good to spend hours in front of the TV screen.

Let me guess what your next challenging thread is going to be...

"Are you a member of a sewing circle?"

"When reading the Beano do you start from the front or back?"

"What color socks do usually wear?"

"Do you like ice cream?"

And I suspect there'll be millions of responses breaking all previous forum records...

What I myopic little creature you are.
The topic is more informative than anything you thought. And you are wrong I am not trying to beat Kefene's "A game" topic in responses.
You may try that yourself if you think it's important.

Stop using "myopic" all the time because in English it doesn't have the same flexibility as it has in Greek. Use "short-sighted" instead.

Oh, and stop being so bloody boring! (I definitely can't help you with that)
