Yes, but the first victim will be EU itself. If the none nationalists want to hold on to their power and they want EU to stay together, then they should grow some balls and stand up to Erdogan and show to him that EU is the powerful side when it comes to the Turkey-EU relationship. No need for gross generalizations against Islam, but those who do not respect democracy and who occupy EU territory should be treated accordingly. If our government has any balls, the next time that sanctions against Russia are discussed we should demand that the same and even more sanctions are placed on Turkey for occupying territory of an EU country. This is certainly a good time to do it, since the Cyprus talks have failed and the European view of Turkey is in an all time low.

...indeed, nothing like this will give Erdogan a reason to change intentions, it will encourage him, if extremism is not looked at for what it is. Sweeping generalisations that tar anyone Turkish, to being "Turkish", leads to a greater escalation in such rhetoric, it is exactly what he expected, and needs.

Turks, respectful people who identify themselves as Human beings first, should not be excluded from the realm that defend Universal Principals. "Turks" those that exclude from their dogma that which is not "them", are the threat, their biggest threat. And while "they" threaten the very fabric of this world, we are essentially allowing "them" to define us divided, as not "them". While Europe is threatened by "Turks", Turkey at home churns. So too Denmark if they allow the thought that a white trash extremist, someone "Dutch", or in a broader sense, "White", is somehow different to the hooligan thinking of a growing "Muslim" counterpart.

What, in Cyprus, that can be seen, is a solution not so far away but for "Turkishness". It is this realisation, (that the "Greeks", and) that the "Turks" need to be defeated politically, that Cypriots do exist, that is coming to light, that they are the other half of this divide, and debate, that Cypriots are just as Turks who are not "Turkish" in Turkey, always under threat (one way or another). I expect Cypriots will be forced to stand up against Turkey, and fight, as Cypriots, because i expect Turkey, that is to say Erdogan's Turkey, to go too far. If it goes that far, so be it. But i am hoping that Erdogan has not lost sight of a Legacy as great as that of Kemal himself by uniting Turkey, through reform where, in Cyprus, the solution is found.

Well said indeed this is an old video and starting from 2013 polls show the same results from Turkish perspective as well, nobody wants to bear the difficulties of last decades of a fallen Union whose last nail will be put on coffin by Turkey without her membership status in account.
By the way Turks have enough 5th column 'muslim personel' all around the EU(i am not counting 3 million on the way soon). Now upcoming years it will be Turkey who is playing with EU by the means of minorities.
Being a EU wannabe was always a hideout to cover that plan. Christians were always used by Europen powers and Russia, to slice up Ottoman domination. Luckly those Neo Ottomanists will use the very same tactics to destroy Europe.

There will be so much tear than joy upcoming years for you lads.
