(and he was a Social Democrat!)

....Isn't it funny that after so many years, we are still at the same stage without an acceptable agreement, and because of the intransigent stance of the Greek Cypriot leadership in demanding their false policy of "Majority Rules", NOTHING has been achieved besides the gradual upgrading of the TRNC.

I have pasted the above here in this forum as many people are now reading this forum from many countries - please watch what you are saying; keep it clean and civilized as you don't want the world to read how the people on the ground truly despise each other!

You don't have any rights and once all these right-winged governments gradually take over most of Europe you’ll find that tolerance towards Turkey’s stupidities will diminish.

Stop talking rubbish again Get Real....and please Get Real.

The EU made a grave mistake in admitting a Divided Cyprus, where the Two Cypriot leaders are now feeling the Pressure, especially the Greek Cypriot one.

Now that the UK is soon to fully start BREXIT, the need for a Cyprus settlement based on a Confederal system has taken center stage. The Ultra Greek Cypriot Nationalist policies of the past in demanding the removal of the right of the Turkish Cypriot as a "Partnership" peoples in ORIGINAL 1960 constitution has become evident to all the player involved, especially the new UN Envoy and EU.

Time Truly is running out for the Greek Cypriots and their intransigent polices towards the Turkish Cypriots, where if an agreement based on this Confederal system is not soon found and constantly rejected by the Greek Cypriots, the TRNC will soon set in motion a decree to abandon ALL UN based talks on the Cyprus question, seek self-determination only and as the EU to reverse their mistake, assigning blame to them, for further and even permanently dividing Cyprus.

Be careful what you say and what you wish for in your words Get Real....a few people are reading this script.

The words from an unfortunately "True" Greek Cypriot is very sad to read on such an open forum as this. You make it so much harder for your people to falsely convince the world that a unitary state in Cyprus was ever possible - particularly after the 1955 EOKA A Terrorist Greek Cypriot guerilla campaign against British rule. It's such a shame you as a nation have never changed your ways. Things could have been different!

My shortsighted friend… nationalism is sweeping through Europe as we speak and once they attain majority EU power it’ll go from “Let’s negotiate with Turkey” to “Let’s embargo Turkey” and from “Let’s summon the Turkish ambassador” to “Let’s fund and train the Turkish opposition” and from “Let’s give them another incentive” to “Let’s partition Turkey”!

I need not tell you what happens to your so-called “TRNC” after that…

Times are changing... Christian nationalist EU governments would NOT tolerate Turkish insolence and would be confrontational.
