Are Russian women realy....the benchmark for being HOT!

Looking for friends? For a boyfriend/girlfriend? Lover? Pen-pal?

I am inclined to agree with you dms007, even though reluctantly.

We Cypriot girls appear to be passive in every aspect just about!

Not all Russian women work in cabarets. My brothers wife is Russian. She's a university graduate, and she earns more than the average Cypriot man! So please do not label them in such a way. Many Russian women live over here, and these women are bound to meet Cypriot men and develop relationships with them. Just because a Cypriot man leaves his wife, it does not mean that a Russian woman stole him away. It simply means that he wasn't happily married, and wanted to find happiness elsewhere. I am English/Cypriot and I have lived here for most of my life. My husband is Cypriot, and I wouldn't tolerate that kind of behaviour from him. It's bullshit (pardon my language) that Cypriot women allow their husbands to visit cabarets. If their husbands do do that, then they do not know about it. And it's not just Cypriot men that cheat on their wives... I know three Cypriot women with children that have cheated on their husbands. And as for Cypriot women being different... you're right. They dress differently, act differently, speak differently etc. It's like that every where you go. The world is a diverse place, and the people in it are too. Don't blame Russian women for failed marriages in Cyprus. Cypriot men have their own minds, and make their own decisions.

What happens at these Cabaret's then? Are they like lap-dancing bars or something?
Sorry to appear thick on the subject just want to establish what exactly they are and what goes on...

It is quite possible to get all the education you need in one night at these establishments.

If you need a companion to visit, i will suggest try the doglover or andry_cy or an outside chance might be kikapu

There you go with the 'labelling' again. 'typical cypriot woman'

What part of my post did you not understand? Did I say that it's a healthy habit for Cypriot men to visit cabarets when their families are fast asleep? No I didn't, and in my opinion it is unaccpetable... what I said was, NOT ALL Russian women work in cabarets! You cannot judge the entire Soviet Union based on the few Russian women that work in cabarets here. There are prostitutes in any country you visit. English, American, Spanish, Italian etc. If I even suspected my husband of cheating on me, I'd leave him in a heart beat. Grow up dms007, and start backing up your statements with some facts and logical reasoning.

Men go in and sit on these couches all over the place and order drinks of £10 each etc. Beautiful women come and drape themselves over the men and make the men feel like gods. Plenty of touching and rubbing later the women will say something like "you like brivade" at which point the man then walks off with her to a room upstairs. WHat happens upstairs I am unsure but the man always comes back lighter and happier. :?

If the man refuses to go upstairs the woman will keep hassling him to buy her a drink, she orders a vodka and a shot of water comes her way, she downs it and that another £10 on your bill. If the man refuses that too he will be asked to leave by the management.

It bares absolutely no resemblance to UK strip clubs.

Thanks for the clarification, GG. So, they have these places all over Cyprus and they are acceptable places for men to go to with their friends? Or do they go there alone?

I'm not adverse to men going to lapdancing clubs or poledancing. The women are well paid and many give up high powered jobs to go into this line of work. It's totally more acceptable in the UK now. Girls even go to watch and there's lessons for poledancing springing up all over at posh gyms etc. But you're right this sounds totally different!
