i dont understand why the attention. actually, mostly negative. i am starting to get na odd desire to lie when anybody asks me where i am from.
plus, "russian" in the eyes of most foreigners (especially them USA fellas) are : russian, ukrainian, belarus and even chezch, latvia, lithuania...anyone from the eastern europe. And for some reason all the negative one can think of is grouped into one word "russian".
...just about time to start feeling deperssed...if i only cared - there's just no point.

I suppose it is because until 15 years ago, the USSR still existed and most USSR citizens spoke a common language. So in many peoples' eyes anyone who speaks Russian is Russian!

I doubt whether many people her could name the 15 States that comprised the USSR!

I worked with a girl from Tajikistan back in the early nineties She was the most loyal friend I could ask for but she didnt suffer fools gladly.
Her family were ethnic Germans and after the end of the 1914-1918 war were were sent to Tajikistan from Germany and spent the best part of that time trying to return to Germany which they finally achieved in 1989 it was a fascinating story.

In Egypt they used to trade women for Camels.

I.e For a young strong Camel they used to exchange three (3 or 4) women and for an older Camel, tired Camel, only one (1 or so) woman.

The same applies these days...

One need to have at least 2-3 women to achive his targets in todays life demands, were the best option/choice is to have only one (1) Russian
to fullfill all his targets.
