I believe that many countries look at "outsiders" a certain way due to what they see with their own eyes. If they see enough, they naturally assume that "THEY'RE ALL LIKE THAT". Kinda of like racial profiling...

When I lived in the Middle East, there were many Russian and Filipino women there. To be honest, the Russian women were prostitutes and the Filipino women were either prostitutes or maids. I'm not trying to judge - I'm just telling you what I saw with my own eyes...

All women, I believe have something to offer and certain skills can be brought to the table. Sometimes, however, circumstances do not always allow that.

Also, when I lived in Lebanon, I did rent a BMW for about a year and yes, the locals all thought that I was a prostitute.

This is pretty much the message I was trying to get across but Cabbie got defensive about it. No way do i believe that all eastern European women are whores but it is a fact that western Euopean men are served by thousands and thousands of eastern European prositutes and it is a fact that certain countries have a track record in providing good marital material for men with the right amount of cash/good propspects. All I'm saying is that these relationships between Cypriot men and Russians or Englishmen and Filipinos are basically a business agreement between a financially stronger provider and a weaker needier woman. But then one could argue that this has been the norm in all marriages up until recently in the US and Europe, when women's expectations and power and social mores have changed. These are the reasons that some men specifically seek out relationships with women from certain cultures/nations.

If the only kind of beautiful woman that you could get was one that would take you for your money, which probably forced you to take some ugly one instead, is not an excuse to make such racist remarks against Eastern Europeans. The problem is with your looks, your intelligence, your behavior etc, not with Eastern Europe.

I am not saying that the phenomenon you talk about does not exist. However you do a gross generalization. In a similar manner we could say similarly negative things for Cypriots, English, Arabs etc.

The Eastern European women that do what you say are a small minority. However they tent to be much more (percentage wise) in places were almost no decent foreigner would go to live. (e.g. the occupied part of Cyprus)

I said in the first post I was generalising and now you and Cabbie have lost it and gone off on one about racism and seem to be overly touchy about this subject - I must have inadvertently touched a raw nerve somwhere for both of you.
As you are a rabid racist and nationalist yourself, I couldn't help thinking that the fact I'm living in the north is probably what got you the most. And you proved me right when you managed to get in a dig about the north.

How do you compare them to the Greek or Cypriot women?

Cypriot men like northern women because they are different than the usual. Some of them are also easier to get than most Cypriots women.

I don't think there is anything more than that.

Are you approximately know how many people (OK women) in completely different countries, regions, cultures, nations, traditions you are trying to generalize?

There are loads of Russian people back at the [url=http://forum.russiancyprus.net]Russian Cyprus forum[/forum] calling Cypriots narrow-minded (even stupid) and lazy... Unfortunately, these topics are much more frequent there than they are here (not that I want it reversed, rather minimized).

All women have a vagina. Most have breasts and butts. That's about as good as it gets in the generalization department.
