Have you tried implementing a bizonal, bicommunal federation?
Let us know how it goes.

Or maybe use a velvet host!

You can use sub-domains like this…
1. http://www.something.com
2. http://www.sub.something.com
And there’s also something called “reverse-proxies” which redirects requests to different places that you may want to look up.

I have a domain name hosted on the web and i would like to host it in another place. is that possible or do I have to transfer it? I don't want to transfer it though, I just want to host it in a second place. Is this possible.

No, an IP address like “66.96.147.115” can only ever have one URL paired with it.
Maybe a trick like...
Host 1: http://www.something.com
Host 2: http://www.something.org
Host 3: http://www.something.edu
...would be a solution for you.
