Well, yes, is anybody ever going to have their minds changed through this forum? I doubt it. I have just completed a heavy morning - early afternoon's work and it is a lovely sunny day here in Cyprus (although we are all begging for more rain here) and I have better things to do than sit here at my computer for the rest of the day and plan to go out safe in the knowledge that I am - still for the time being - living in a country where I can express my views without fearing an early morning knock at the door.

This is what makes me immensely happy, to be in a country where I can freely express any views I care for, be it political, religious, or just plain frivolous.
I can chose to be a practicing Christian, a muslim, a Sikh or any other bloody religion, in the knowledge that no fatwa will be issued against me.
Long live the western world, our tolerance, our civilization , those that still reside in the dark ages, Lordo comes to mind, must be challenged and ridiculed.

Trump has been in the US driving seat for just 4 days. On his first day at The Office, among other things, he signed a Presidential Order to leave the TPP .... just like that and the US is OUT!

Teresa May has been in The Office for over 7 months and is still negotiating whether of not, as the Prime Minister, she even has the power to make a similar decision on the UK leaving the EU. Then, assuming 11 senior judges say she can, it could take many years to achieve what Trump has achieved in just 4 days.

Why can't the UK say to the EU Commissioners ...... here is your Article 50 ..... we're OUT ? Why is everything the UK government does bogged down in prolonged legal argument? :?:

Maybe when she gets back from talking to Trump he will show her how to do it and, like the US, the UK can immediately form a series of bi-lateral trade deals rather than restrictive collective deals,

Trump is a protectionist. He isn't interested in a trade deal with the part of the world that is booming. What chance is there that he will be in a hurry to do a deal with an island which appears hell-bent on economic self-destruction situated on the edge of Europe, a continent that is currently the sick man of the world in economic terms?

Because a very rich woman called Gina Miller, with anonymous "backers" (perhaps they are part of your NWO), is using her wealth in an attempt to frustrate, or even ultimately overturn, the votes of over 17,000,000. Democracy in action.

It seems odd that some can talk scathingly about the World being run by a group of privileged, ultra wealthy people, trampling on the ordinary populations' best interests with disdain and yet seem to regard the likes of her as some sort of heroine. I think it's just another example of the paucity of the Remainer "democrat's" argument.

I appreciate it would simply have been another front man but wouldn't be upset to see the last of Ms Miller's smirking, self important demeanour outside the Courts of Justice.

The result is due at 11.30 our time. Although it's been widely predicted, virtually since the appraisal, If "rumour has it" is correct then it will be 4/7.

Somehow it all seems to have been overtaken by events. Perhaps they will have better luck with the case they are bringing to the ECJ through Dublin.

Pardon me, but isn't Britain supposed to be a parliamentary democracy?

The judiciary has just confirmed the above by 8 votes to 3. I breathe freer knowing that I am still the citizen of a country in which the rule of law and democracy prevails.
