From the outset I will make it clear that although as a young man and one that fully supported ENOSIS just as almost 100% of G/Cs did , my views , and those of many supporters of ENOSIS at the time , have changed. I believe in an independent nation where all Cypriots embrace profusely their TRUE homeland, the island of Cyprus.

I have yet to meet a T/C who does not consider Cyprus as his/ her primary motherland just as strongly as I do.

The British have much to answer for, their actions were motivated, understandably, by their strategic interests in the region.
