If "President" Anastasiades of the so-called Republic of Cyprus for all its people (regardless of being Greek, Turkish, Maronite, English, Armenian etc) is So Independent, [b]WHY then does he Choose and Believe to HAVE TO VISIT Greece?

This PROVES, Like his Archbishop, how GREEK they truly feel and know they area ABOVE everything ELSE. "Cypriot", sorry, but the evidence is so clear. If you ask us the same question our answer is Yes too, we FEEL More "TURKISH" than Cypriot, which is why we chose the "Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, or the Turkish Cypriot State" etc, where unlike ypourselves we are not afraid to admit it! Please don't try to bullshit us with fake ideologies that imply that we are one "Cypriot" nation when your President has to run to another President for advice as two Greek compatriots acting again Turkey and the TRNC, while also trying to convince us that we will be protected under a Greek Cypriot dominated Unitary State. We are Turkish and you are Greek Cypriot people of the island of Cyprus....period!

President Nicos Anastasiades is in Athens, where he will hold a meeting with the Greek Premier Alexis Tsipras.

The meeting, according to an official announcement, takes place in the framework of the close cooperation between the two governments and aims to further coordinate the steps of the two countries ahead of the Cyprus Conference to take place January 12, in Geneva.

FM Ioannis Kasoulides and Government Spokesman Nicos Christodoulides are going to be present at the meeting. President Anastasiades returns home tomorrow afternoon.

Why doesn't Anastasiades visit British PM Thressa May being the head of the other Guarantor Partner in Cyprus, or Travel to Ankara? ....Oh sorry! he refused the Turkish PM as Akinci was there! What a joke!

The quicker we formulate a Federal agreement with TWO clear Federated States and end this 40+ year old UN Negotiations rubbish, the quicker we can start establishing international ties and agreements with Turkey. But, of course the Greek Cypriots will ruin that dream when they say "NO" again to this new Akinci/Anastasiades Plan!

Greeks have been in Cyprus for twice as long as the English have been in Britain, while the Turks have been in Cyprus for about as long as the English have been in America. Humans have existed for 200.000 years and for 40.000+ years in Europe. Nearly no group of people are in the same place today as they have been 40.000 years ago, but there is a huge difference between being on the same place for 3500 years vs 450 years.

There has been a predominant Greek presence on the island of Cyprus since 1400 BC. Whether it was part of the Persian, the Roman, Frankish, the Venetian, the Ottoman or the British Empire it's irrelevant.
