How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

...NATO needs Cyprus, the UN needs Cyprus more.

...it will not surprise me to see UN Operations for the Eastern Mediterranean, in Cyprus soon.

...i like the way Guterres said, in Geneva, ''for the Republic of Cyprus, and for the Communities" , "for Cyprus, for the People of Cyprus"; this bodes well.

...enjoyed this article.

the fact that it is false does not make any difference.

it claims this

he said Turkish troops would never withdraw from the north of the island

and yet this is a classic case of media taking what ever suits them to prove their own views.

erdogan certainly included that in a sentence, but that sentence has been cut. the senctence was originially

he said Turkish troops would never withdraw from the north of the island unless the greeks pull out their troops out.

but of course the last part of the sentence is not that importnat. it proves the point the writer is trying to make hence the rest is not necessary.

going on to claim that the talks have failed of course is another one. the talks last week were never going to be finalised. all the politically agreed points have been handed over to the technical committes to thrush out the detail and that was the intention of the talks according to the un followed by another round of talks next week. all the other chapters were never meant to close either, it was agreed that they would all close together. but of course greeks and their russian friends decided that they wanted all the other chapters closed before security negotiations and of course before they would negotiate security they wanted an agreement that there will be no guarantee before they negotiate the giarantees and indeed anastasiades walked out of the talks in protest for not having his way. and of course the week later he walked back intothe talks again after he was made to see the light. quite what they were going to negotiate about the guarantee after it was declared that there will not be any is a little difficult to fathiom but hey were talking about greek mentality here.

bullshit and double bullshit.

...you can have NATO, in Cyprus, you can have the Russians, you can have the UN, in Cyprus, Turkey too, with Cyprus; intentions count, against the enemy that is common to all.

no we cannot have nato, cause the russians willnot vote for it.

we have reached the end. finally we have almost an agreement on the size of the states which will be agreed by the end of the month and so will the guarantees. it will then be put the the people.

if they vote yes we shall have peace
if they vote no then the un will use the agreement to split the country up to the percentages agreed and that will be that. we shall have peace.

either way the end is in this year. there will no need for negotiations after the vote.

of course therer is a chance that they may not go to the vote if they think either side will vote no in whcih case it will be division without a vote.

We already have an illegal division, we have had it for 43 years, whats changed. Seems to me that the TCs need the agreement more than the GCs. You still haven't told us what it is exactly that you are offering other than some small percentage of land back that you cunts stole in the first place.
