I did place filters but still I have to look at the description to make sure they are really junk and not something I was actually waiting to receive.
During the last month or so I noticed that immediately after doing a search in online stores trying to find something to buy,
I start receiving email ads for the exact same product I was looking for!!
This is enough proof that our standard browsers are somehow hijacked.

So is GR's classic the all in one solution?
Only Paphitis and Donald Trump would know

Pyro, I don’t know if you’re aware of this but…

If you are using Ms Outlook then if you right-click on a junk email as it appears in the minimized list and then…

Create rule > 1. Tick the "From Some name..." box + 2. Tick the "Move the item to folder --> Junk Email"

Then the junk emails from this particular sender will automatically go into the garbage can. Repeat the process for each junk sender.

And finally, do yourself a favor and get stuck into the Classic.

PS: If your problems are still not resolved then send me a PM and you can bring your box over to Tseri and we'll fix things up together free of charge, as CF friends.

I know how to create rules, and block senders etc, in fact I have made 100s of those. yes I use Outlook. For a short period I switched to Thunderbird and another email client don't remember which. There's a possibility I was hijacked from one of those.
Regardless, no filters, no rules, no blocked senders list ever solved my problem, for the simple reason they send their ads using fake email addresses, that their computers change all the time....

PS. I don't wonna be friends.

If this is an email address you created via your ISP then you can easily change it, update Ms Outlook and then contact all those that matter of such a change.

If it’s one of those free Gmail or Yahoo-type of email accounts, then maybe it’s more trouble than it’s worth so you can always delete such an account.

Ads following you around on the Internet are irrelevant to emails so a browser change can’t help you with spam emails received.

It's the same email I had with cyta, then with spidernet and then with cablenet. Nothing changed other than the name of the service provider.
I have it for more than 20 years. Yes you are right I may eventually have to ask cablenet to change it for me.

Pyro,

I always have an open mind about things. I tried this browser not once but 3 times, thinking he would have improved it over time.

I's not for me because the browser reduces internet functionality quite a bit to achieve a mere sense of online security.

I prefer using other browsers and still block all adds and even all YouTube adds within videos. I don't get a single add. I also do not have 100 spam emails like you do because I am careful with my information. I also have the ability to browse the internet privately and securely.

I also use tablets and have location services on because I use GPS services to look for things, shops, restaurants, and other stuff, particularly in foreign cities and I also use programs like Ozrunways, JeppessenFD and Runway which uses GPS to plot my course on a moving map with weather and traffic overlays as well and I don't have any issues.

I know this browse is not for me. If it is for you, then good luck. But as I said, I am in my happy place right now.

As for Trump, he has has secure programs and secure computers he uses. His network would be the most secure on the planet. And as we know, he isn't allowed to use Outlook. GMAIL, or HOTMAIL.

Hillary Clinton should be in jail for what she did but no one is saying a boo about that. Everyone wants to impeach Trump, but guess what, he didn't do anything unlike Clinton. The Democrats were hacked by the Russians because they didn't follow US Security protocols. In the end, the Democrats need to look at themselves. They broke all the rules.

Baloney! Google's servers do not even represent 0.1% of what's on the Internet!

You’re just criminally minded Paphitis… you admire the global arch-criminal US, and even revere their evil data-collecting servers.

I don’t know what makes dumb people like you come about… maybe you run into a lamp post as a kid or something. :?

Bull fucking shit!

I use Google and others, and for me, Google Searches are better and a lot more relevant to me. I also use DDG and Dogpile.

Coming soon to the Classic Browser v4.4

We are currently concentrating on MEDIA entertainment:

1. We have super-charged the browser's internal media player with better control, graphic equalizer displays, and hypnotic backgrounds.

2. We have facilitated the creation of Media Play Lists with limitless entries, from your local hard disk and the Internet.

3. We then take advantage of the browser's powerful Multi-Frame capabilities to combine it all into the all new... “Classic DJ Studio”!

Now you can entertain friends and family with your favorite Media Play Lists via the Classic DJ Studio, which gives you precise control of Play Lists and audio output.

Media Supported: .wav, .mp3, .wma, .opus, .flac, .weba, .ogg, .mpc, .vox, .mmf, mpg, .mp4, .wmv, .mpeg, .webm, .asf, .avi, .flv, .3gp, .ogv

A sneak peek at work in progress...

Oh and in case you're wondering, here's what the almighty Google of thousands of employees and billions of dollars has for you in the media department...
