Oh boy.

Mate, you got a long way to go before your browser is user friendly let alone user based.

If anything, you need to download the browsers I mentioned to get some fresh ideas. If you can overhaul your entire user interface to the 21st century, offer quick commands, mouse gestures, tab stacking and so on, then you get another user in me. Right now, even your upgrade process is terrible.

Being prettier is just one thing, but it isn't the killer. Their functionality is.

OH btw, Mozilla, Vivaldi, and Opera do not do any remote logging, or you can switch it off. They record no browsing habits either. It is a total brick wall and Mozilla, Vivaldi and Opera are explicit about it too. Duck Duck Go endorses Vivaldi as well.

Mozilla is community open source based with thousands of developers worldwide, and they formed themselves with security in mind. They are not commercial. Which really amazes me because if you have the same concerns as all the user developers of Mozilla, then why not just be a Mozilla Programmer? They got a shit load of resources because there are thousands of people working on the Mozilla project worldwide. :?

 Paphitis, you were the most idiotic user I have EVER had to deal with… I still cringe at the stupidity of the questions you were asking me back then... :?

Now be a good boy and run along before I post those PMs you were sending and embarrass you here!

Don’t make me get nasty… you wouldn’t like me when I’m nasty.

Go back to my last post and address the questions.

I am trying to help you and you should be grateful because if anything I am giving you ideas.

now be a good boy and to a thorough audit of Vivaldi and Opera and let's see you try to be as innovative as they are. :D

I downloaded you browser and found the user experience to be pretty fucken bad and I even tried telling you about all the bugs. And one of these terrible bugs still hasn't been fixed... :?

I don’t have to address questions about commercial browsers… I don’t care about them, what I offer is unique to protect users for those users who understand and appreciate such matters, and I don’t even consider myself in competition with the commercial guys.

Now leave me alone.

Mozilla is NOT a commercial browser!

Mate, I doubt there are many users out there who will opt for your browser over things like Vivaldi and open source Mozilla.

Right, and tell me what has changed?

Do you have Quick Commands, mouse gestures, and custom shortcuts? What about Tab Stacking and Tab pause?

Come on dude! you only just now boasted about stopping YouTube adds, which the others stopped years ago.

And the other big problem you got is that you probably need to add the code each time after each upgrade. Do you have any appreciation of how fucking annoying that is?

I have no use for the browsers you mention Paphitis…

To be able to automatically inject JavaScript into any website that loads, is a programmer’s DREAM and here you are talking shit about Opera!
Oh please…

I fully understand why you don’t appreciate such things... but by the same token you also need to show some understanding why it’s important to me.

It’s like telling a petrol-head that he should replace his hopped-up 2500bhp Toyota Supra for the factory Nissan GTR…

Sure, the Nissan GTR is a great car but it can’t do 2500bhp out of the box!

I understand why it is important to you. It is also important to me that you succeed somehow. believe me when I say that I would be very pleased to see your browser to go places.

I am trying to tell you a few things.

For instance, you have not yet sorted out your browser updates. At the moment you have to do a fresh install, which also means that all the extra coding one needs to do in order to block YouTube adds needs to be done each time. That's a major bummer. You would be better off with a third party blocker like uBlock.

Opera has an add blocker in built and obliterates all adds straight from the box.

Secondly, your browser needs a huge facelift.

Then you need to look at all the other areas like Quick Commands, mouse gestures and tab stacking.
