Did China ask us if it was OK to devalue their currency (making it hard for our companies to compete), heavily tax our products going into..

their country (the U.S. doesn't tax them) or to build a massive military complex in the middle of the South China Sea? I don't think so!

At last, we get a President who is gonna be hitting between the eyes rather than be all diplomatic and walking on egg shells all the time.

Putting aside the fact that you’re almost a week behind in the news…

If Trump's “strategy” is basically to worsen the previous government's appalling foreign policy by antagonizing a financial power further... if that's what he had in mind when he talked about “making America great again”, then I'm afraid his voters have been badly had!

If anything, America needs someone serious and professional who will go on the mending and build strong long-term trade relationships not the other way round!

If Trump goes cowboy then I'm afraid 6 months from now the masses will be back on the streets screaming for the previous government to return... even as useless as the previous government was!

If China is convinced that Trump is poised to be an enemy then you’ll soon probably see a Chinese aircraft carrier in the Med joining the Russians, and one probably placed off the shores of the Philippines forcing the yanks to sail right around!

But anyway, I sincerely hope Trump is an utterly useless leader; more useless than everyone else before him, so that we see a speedier demise of the US in the interests of Cyprus.

The problem IS, China actually antagonized the USA. it's all a one way street as far as they are concerned.

China, protested because Trump accepted a call from Taiwan's president. It's pretty petty over all.

What Trump is saying, and quite correctly in my opinion, is that they don't seem to consider our feelings our show respect towards us when they do the following:

1) it's illegal for foreigners to buy land in China, whilst all along, Chinese investment into our countries has resulted in escalating property prices to the point of not being affordable to young people. An average old and run down home in Sydney is now worth $1,000,000 or about 700K Euro.
2) they are building artificial islands in international waters and waters which are contested by Japan, Vietnam, Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia as part of their EEZ and in defiance of UNCLOS, and choking major trade routes in the South China Sea.
3) China does have tariffs on foreign products and yet the rest of the world don't because they believe in the free trade paradigm.

All in all, I think Trump hit the nail on the head.

All that is about to be turned on its ear by Trump.

As far as the Chinese Economy is concerned, they are heavily reliant on Australian Resources.

As far as the masses are concerned, well the coyboys among them are upset that they are losing their manufacturing jobs which is why Trump is mentioning protectionism as an economic policy as well as cutting tax which should stimulate a lot of growth.

If Trump keeps this up, he will be more popular than ever before.

Before you know it, a flat will be out of reach to your kids and they will be renting for the rest of their lives.

Let me put things into context! If Get Real's house was transplanted in even an outer suburb of Sydney (nothing special) then the exact home will be worth around $2 million or 1.4 million Euros. Just an average home.

Now imagine a young couple trying to buy a normal house. It's impossible now without assistance from family and you need to be a well off family at that.

Chinese are able to buy anything in our countries, yet its impossible for us to buy land in China apart from Hong Kong (and prices there are ridiculous).

Your property in Sydney would be worth 1.4 million Euros minimum, probably more.

as for spending on the military, trump has already divulged that this is a core element of his policy along with huge tax cuts.

And you don't appoint Mad Dog for no reeason. His views on Middle east and Syria are well known. America is going to make the Middle east a focus area.

In addition, all Coalition countries don't seem to be troubled at all, and have continued with their operations in Syria to this day and do not expect any change at all.

BTW, Mad Dog Mattis was the Commander of the Combined Joint task Force which btw is the entire Coalition Force in Syria. He is a strong advocate for a NO FLY ZONE and arming Rebels as well as arming the YPG and protecting the Kurdish controlled Areas in Syria.

And the YPG are an affiliate to the Pkk in Turkey which is why Erdogan is having babies after sucking too much Russian Dick.
