E in case you haven't noticed, the EU does not accept asylum seekers from countries that are considered safe havens. Cyprus is a safe haven.

Are you for real? What the hell are all those asylum seekers that landed in Greece, Italy etc. doing in bloody Calais ? Are you suggesting Greece and Italy are NOT safe havens. Use some common sense.

What Australia does, and I speak with some authority, is that it intercepts any boats using naval and customs vessels, turns them back before they enter Australian waters and sends them to poor countries like Nauru, and PNG where they have set up detention centers and tells them to seek asylum there. In return, Australia sends millions in aid.

You always speak with Authority but never say what Authority. An Aboriginal witch doctor, casting the bones, cannot be considered an 'authority'. That punches a hole in your claims of concern for humanity. At least the EU picks them up just of the North African coast and takes them to Europe rather than letting them drown. Obviously this does not bother Australians?

Australia has embassies and consulates where people can apply via the appropriate channels.

The regime isn't in any position to be maintaining security. The minute their forces have to leave Aleppo to head for Palmyra, will result in renewed fighting in Aleppo.

Meanwhile, Israel has bombed Damascus and surrounding towns too.

So tell me. How do they plan to defeat all the rebels? They can't!

Apple sell useless and gimmick watches for a pay packet and then release a new update 12 months later making the d stuff obsolete and they release updates which slows down all the processors to force consumers to upgrade.

Take a look at his posts. Most that post on here, express their opinion and maybe links to some interesting sources that back them up or give other complimentary opinions. The only thing anyone that posts on here can possibly have is an opinion. None of us could possibly have the detailed and in depth information Paphitis seems to get from his highly placed sources to make his grand pronouncements ..... sources he obviously can't name for reasons of National Security.

He talks in first person plural, as if he is Trumps right hand man. The only thing that could get THATclose to Trump ..... would be toilet paper! You work it out.

As for Trump .... you could be right but I am getting funny feelings about some of his choices for his administration. They seem at odds with his campaign rhetoric. Something Paphitis frequently refers to is The Deep State, the ghosts behind the scenes that REALLY pull the strings! Looks like Trump is on a collision course with some of them particularly in the CIA over the Presidential election, Russian hacking conspiracy theory? 'They' killed JFK for less!
