...avoid expressing a political opinion, especially about the Cyprus Problem. Be sensitive to the fact that it is a very personal issue in Cyprus, there are very few of the population who were and are left untouched by it.
...don't visit the occupation regime's benefactors (the casinos and hotels) in the occupied north. Unless you willfully want to support their (read: Turkish Army, Turkey) illegal acts, find Cypriots that you can enjoy patronising with your business.
...don't be cheap, be prepared to bargain to get what you want, don't be foolish, but be generous just the same.
...don't forget, you will meet "Greeks" and "Turks", (they may be the loudest,) not all Cypriots are "them", Greek and Turkish, Maronite (Arab), Latin, Rome, and Armenian, (never mind the British, Russian, etc.) Cypriots, exist too.
...Makaroni, is that Canadian from Ontario, or American from New Jersey?
