Why?

My simple question is why does Britain keep escalating tensions to the point of wanting a war with Russia?

Why do we have such stupid politicians in the 'west' and imbecile lemmings that believe their propaganda and would march to their death for them? What for? Why?

No one wants war!

They are talking about developing their defensive capabilities to counteract increasing Russian assertiveness.

The West is one homogeneous body. NATO/EU, ANZUS, USA,UK, Australia, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand are ONE. If there is a War with Russia, it will be a World War. Most of our defence Policies are integrated and designed for interoperability as a massive coalition.

It's not the UK acting independently but responding to increasing international threats as is every other country in the alliance. Once the American Elections are over, Russia is going to slow down somewhat.
