So funny...

The truth is that any employee at Cyta knows these things. It is not a secret.

I was provoked. And I don't like people who think they know everything and say lies.

Has anyone tried WaveSpeed ADSL. A friend of mine insists it;s the fastest service he has tried and claims that they do not filter any ports

ADSL

Postby wildfig » Tue Jan 31, 2006 8:23 pm

CYTA ADSL sucks. I have a 1MB line, I play cards online and it is so slow that I keep getting booted and have to resort to dial-up which works fine. I can't understand why dial-up which is so much slower works and fast ADSL doesnt. I spent hours trying to get an answer from i-choice/netrunner support with no result. This company is terrible I wish the goverment would privatise it and allow free competition in telecoms, at present this is non existent, only in theory.

wildfig, try Netway (www.netway.com.cy). You can subscribe on their website instantly (and start using it instantly as well if you still have i-choice of course) and next day go to Cyta shop to cancel your NetRunner subscription.
I switched to Netway several months ago and in seems much better than Cyta's Netrunner.

hmm... I'm gonna give it a go as well in a few days, is there a way to find out till what day the netrunner lasts so I can switch a few days before it expires and not end up paying for another month, Cyta has had enough of my money for nothing...

I think Netrunner charges you based on the days you use it. So if you cancel today you will just pay some cents for this month. :)

After reading all the posts regarding CYTA etc. Can anyone tell me Who are giving the best deals / service as an internet provider. Is there a web site available in Cyprus which gives comparisons between ISPs. :?:

Regards,

Whirlybird.
