Netrunner has been very unsable for the last 12 hours... anyone else notice this?

Enabling the proxy helped... I can't seem to ping the DNS servers...
Pinging 192.168.5.102 with 32 bytes of data:

Request timed out.

Ping statistics for 192.168.5.102:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss)

PvUtrix, everything is OK from were I am.

Your website is down though. Maybe the problem is there?

How is my website affecting my internet connection? It's not down anyway
you can try this proxy, http://anonymouse.org/anonwww.html

DNS is also up and running
http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/lookup.ch ... com&type=A

It's something wrong with cyta's proxy, it opens fine with proxy disabled, while with proxy on it says
The dnsserver returned:

DNS Domain 'www.rucychi.com' is invalid: Host not found (authoritative).

They are never pingable. Cyta seems to have ICMP filtered for their DNS servers.

We use ADSL at work. Usually it is fast enough for my needs.

it's actually been getting better after I started complaining here :)
maybe there was some upgrade going on in my area which caused all the instability?!
I'll make some speed test later on and post the results...

PvUtrix in England maybe is cheaper but have you checked the rates in Greece? Oh my god. It is way more expensive. Anyway it is not Cyta who desides about the rates but i think is the parliament. It is the same about the mobile rates. Cyta can make them cheaper but the regulator won't let them.

ADSL at Cyta has been a problem and yes they are aware of it. We control about 100 high level residential accounts. We brought in the number three guy at Cyta to discuss the problem. His answer was that Cyta “upgraded” some of their service areas with a “port-switching-software” that will manage and prioritize message traffic. Okay, well it ain't working. His response was that they are going to continue to monitor the performance of the network and then make changes.

This company is one of the largest monopolies in Cyprus. Most of their employees are card carrying AKEL fans and you can guess which football team they pull for. They can do what ever they want.

We are looking at a long-haul option called Thunderworks.
