Theresa May's declaration.

Postby Schnauzer » Fri Oct 07, 2016 8:33 pm

The new PM (un-elected) of the UK made a singularly convincing speech outside 'No 10' in order to convince the general population that SHE would consider the needs and requirements of THEM, before those of the 'Well Heeled'.

Below is a transcript of Her words, (part of a longer address to the voters and the world in general).

" I know you’re working around the clock, I know you’re doing your best, and I know that sometimes life can be a struggle. The government I lead will be driven not by the interests of the privileged few, but by yours.

We will do everything we can to give you more control over your lives. When we take the big calls, we’ll think not of the powerful, but you. When we pass new laws, we’ll listen not to the mighty but to you. When it comes to taxes, we’ll prioritize not the wealthy, but you. When it comes to opportunity, we won’t entrench the advantages of the fortunate few. We will do everything we can to help anybody, whatever your background, to go as far as your talents will take you".

One wonders how She will be able to wriggle out of the FIRST opportunity to implement Her words (promises) when confronted by the dismay of the good folk of 'Lancashire' who vehemently oppose the 'Fracking' which has been given the 'Go Ahead' despite such vigorous opposition from those 'General Public' who fear for the safety of their homes.

A previous attempt at 'Fracking' resulted in an 'Earthquake', the new attempt will be far more 'Technical' than the first and all the latest methods will be employed as they drill 2 miles beneath the Earth before diverting their drills horizontally for miles in any direction.

I wonder if we will ever be treated to a similar fiasco which took place in the heady days of the 'Miner's Strike', when 'Maggie Thatcher' unleashed Her fury upon THOSE protesters.

Very clever, then, that she gave the job of overruling the British public of Lancashire, to none other than a Pakistani - Sajid Javid - thus killing two birds with one stone. No opposition to her next move to remove all foreigners ....

If the day ever dawned that all foreigners were removed from the UK, the whole country would float in the air like a balloon.

Theresa May looks like a fantastic PM. Testament to the UK for having such strong leaders in the face of so much BREXIT uncertainty and I welcome her deliberation that the UK is already working on BREXIT and should be ready to invoke Article 50 before March 2017.

It's about time one European country hit back at the Euro NAZIs! She may go down in history like Winston Churchill! 8)

This is the second time the Brits save Europe from a terrible menace.

" In 2014, the United Kingdom exported $472B and imported $663B, resulting in a negative trade balance of $191B."

Exports will undoubtedly benefit from a week Sterling, but imports will go up considerably.

The outlook for the British economy over the next few years is not exactly encouraging.

Theresa May (supporter of the REMAIN campaign) who became PM because Cameron crapped his dacks when He lost the vote to REMAIN in the EU, who probably will adopt the mantle of Maggie rather than Winston.

Easy for Her to step into the position of PM without being elected for the post since She never was much good at her previous job.

She will do as She is told no doubt BUT, how does one jump from 'Remain to Leave' with such alacrity and have the audacity to suppose that nobody will notice ?.

And the 'Brits' have got the cheek to take the piss out of the 'Yanks'.

Cameron was a remainer just like Theresa. he didn't expect the BREXITERS to win. He campaigned very hard for the remain vote.

But when he lost, I think it was fair for him to resign.

Theresa is a pretty solid leader to take Britain towards BREXIT. The fact that she is abiding by the wishes of the people is testament to her character.

Good solid Government, which is going to do its homework before they invoke Article 50.

here is a tip for you.

In 5 years time, Britain will be laughing at the EU.

trade deficits are not a good measure of the economy either. Most industrialized countries have trade deficits.

Your opinion, not that of economists or investors. If this was the case then Stg would be on the up.
Wrong again mate.
By the way, Germany's record trade surplus in 2015; US, UK, France in deficit
