You don't know that, neither does anyone else ..... otherwise there would be no need for A-50 and we could just resign, tear up the 28,000 pages of EU directives/rules/legislation and go on our merry way to trade with who we want on mutually beneficial terms. But, apparently it ain't that simple!
What you are implying is that any country wishing to trade with Europe has to have free movement of EU citizens in their country or the EU will impose trade tariffs? But ..... that cuts both ways!
let me give you an example. switzerland has one such an agrement and recently their parliament voted to restrict free movement from the eu. they were infomed that if such a law was implemented, the free trade agreement will be cancelled completely. you cannot have it clearer than that. no eu principles no free access. simples ainit.
