When will the West wake up and realize that the only solution to the Syrian tragedy is the defeat of the numerous groups opposing Assad ? The West want Assad removed but have yet to conclude who on earth would replace him and have the support of the Syrian people, as indeed Assad has enjoyed. It is inconceivable to even begin to shortlist a successor to Assad.

The West made a dreadful error of judgement in throwing its support behind numerous opposing groups, rebels , Jihadis, men without a charismatic leader.

Assad will survive because only he can put an end to this massive tragedy.

The survey, conducted by ORB International, a company which specializes in public opinion research in fragile and conflict environments, [2] found that 47 percent of Syrians believe that Assad has a positive influence in Syria, compared to only 35 percent for the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and 26 percent for the Syrian Opposition Coalition.

There is a gulf of difference between making accusations ...... and having the evidence to support them!

So far the US and its coalition have made many accusations but have not managed to present any tangible evidence. When they do present 'evidence' it has more holes in it than a Gruyere Cheese and is usually from a single convenient source. Try ........ 20,000 photos of 'Assad's victim's of torture' .... turned out to be 20,000 photos of unidentified dead bodies, taken in hospital morgues so that there was a record of them for future identification by relatives.

To the contrary, every action by the US coalition in Syria has been illegal from the very start and constitutes war crimes and crimes against humanity ..... proven without a shadow of doubt. So who will we see in the dock at the ICC in the Hague? Certainly won't be the Yanks, they are an exceptional people, they are above the Law and do not recognise the ICC anyway...... unless it is convenient to their cause, but the rest of the coalition are not exceptional.




If Assad is such a monster, how come the Syrian people still elect him into power as their President after years of this so called abuse? How come it is the government controlled areas that many Syrians flee to directly they break free from the butchery of the US coalition armed and supported terrorists? Chemical weapons, bombing hospitals and schools, deliberately killing civilians, robbing aid convoys ........ are all figments of a deranged and over active imagination ....... but there are always suckers that believe these stories!

when will you realise that the interference of the west in the arab lands for the last 60 years has been a total diaster. they should stop aiding israel to the tune of 38 billion dollars and they should stop arming and training arab militia and leaders. get out of the middle east you bar stewards.

When are you going to wake up?

Assad is using Chemical Weapons on the Syrian People.

How can a sane person ever justify this when we see Syrian Chuldren gasp for their last breath in bombed out hospitals which are also being deliberately targeted by Assad?

These are War Crimes against humanity, and by accepting this makes us just as culpable.

Hey Assad! Don't worry about the Aid convoys. The coalition has invaded your country. We don't have your permission like Russia does.

And we just bombed the shit out of your military.

The only solution to this mess is a direct confrontation between Syria and the Coalition and for the coalition to mobilize ground troops into Syria and create safe havens and strict no fly zones.

Lucky, we have an upcoming change of administration in America towards Clinton. Anything is now possible.

If Pootin want to continue to help Assad, then watch out but we will be happy for Pootin to join the coalition against DAESH and save face or withdraw from Syria completely. If he joins the Coalition then he can maintain a stranglehold of Syria in the aftermath and his bases and interests.

Time for Pootin to get serious and choose his destiny!

If this was a just world, Assad would be number one on the hit list not ISIL.

OSIL are no threat and will be dismantled, but dismantling the real evil who is using Chemical Weapons against innocence will be much tougher.

Get your priorities right people.

Assad before ISIL! Only a matter of time before the coalition starts thinking straight! Only a matter of time.

Pootin is delaying the inevitable and better have a contingency plan to save face because I don't think he is the kind of guy who will take kindly to any international embarrassment.

Assad is our number 1 target!

Just remember! We will win in the long run and either have Assad killed or facing a war crimes tribunal. Might as well do it the easy way Pootin and start talking regime change from now. Pootin has much more to lose than the coalition.
