Power to the people

Postby Cn12963 » Wed Aug 31, 2016 6:04 pm

Hello everyone. I have been entertaining the idea of a peaceful coup d'état in Cyprus as it is a reltively small country thus greater effects could be achieved. I am in no way an anarchist, but with all that we have to us available we could turn this island into a true heaven on earth. Using free energy/zero point to rebuild an ecological society founded on permaculture principles. Abolish all forms of currency use once and far all and educate the people to exchange produce/products openly for the ''summum bonum'' of human kind. Theres many issues that could be discussed, but it will remain ''talk'' unless a significant amount of people are truly willing to make this ''utopian dream'' that many have dreamed and attempted throughout history a reality of ours.

Is this really a challange or something that will happen, sooner or later...?

Wish you all well

Yeah .... brilliant idea! Now all you have to do is get the Cypriots on your side and you're home and dry! You would stand a better chance of bringing down the Global financial system and the banks! Good luck with your project......

Are you serious? Do you live here?

Outopos from Paphos is the man you need to see… he even expands on your utopian ideas further with community sex and the “we are all one family” principle. 8)

I wish you well, too, 'H' .

But as much as I myself love and admire and hope only for the best for Cyprus and Cypriots - only Cypriots can determine what that should be, and how to gain it.

The rest of us: strictly observers.

You're a few thousand years too late. Cyprus has one of the oldest cultures in Europe with currency/coinage having been fixed in the national psyche donkey's years ago. Try some turkish villages in Anatolia - they're less than 100 years old.

Cypriots are also 'highly educated' and very good at exchanging 'products' as my much-proffered famous lemon cake would testify! :)

Anyway, what does 'educate the people to exchange' mean when you're talking to a nation that has been trading for some 12,000 years?

...read your Marx, and your Engels, if you want to understand our (the Human race) political-economic evolution, how the scientific method is applied to answering the question, after Capitalism, what?

...for the here and now, Coops are the bane to a Capitalist system, i think; because it is socialistic. Collectively Cypriots are/were Great Cooperators, of the first, (coming from the fact that they were already more socialised as people), which brought with it a sense of pride, freed from the combine that had to be rented, and buyers who would not give their best price. At least in my village (42 years ago) we were self-sustaining. I would like to believe that this is, after so many years of isolation, as a backwater of the Ottoman's, and in subjugation for thousands of years, (still) a Cypriot way.

...you could visit a monastery, there are many, they too will find your thinking not so strange.

...Cn12963, welcome; how did you come up with this name?

To Robin Hood:

Yes i am a citizen of Cyprus. Do you believe that the global financial system has our best interest at heart ? Or the highest ranking politicians that feed us lies just to be put into a comfortable position ? Far from it. And why accept this as ''the way things are'' and not do nothing about it. What about future generations ? The idea was to create a society that would be an example to the rest of the world. As repulsewarrior mentioned Cypriots are good at cooperating with each other so it would make '' the work '' much more easier.

To Zenon33:

I think its Utopos who is the crazy one.

To Linichka:

If you look into the works of David Holmgren, Buckminster Fuller, Nikola Tesla, Edward Leedskalnin ( just to name a few ) and the people who have continued their line of work you find true potential in turning the world to a completely different direction. You improve the state of being both for the planet and humanity. This is what is being offered here.

To GreekIslandGirl:

Are you saying that Cypriots will always be Cypriots, not willing to accept a paradigm shift that might change life as we now it ? The same way humans learn, they can unlearn and relearn better ways.

To repulsewarrior:

We would not be having this conversation if i didnt care about the future of humanity and the planet we live on. I could take the selfish way, theres plenty of permacultures globally that are seeking for people to join them. I just happen to have love for our Creator and all that has been created by this Great Mystery. Since we are given i believe we are all obligated to give back, one way or another. Why do you find my nickname interesting ?

Wishing you all well

I'm saying that Cypriots have had cultural practice for so long that they are already supremely sophisticated. Cypriots have tried and improved on most available systems. Who are you that thinks he knows better than thousands of years of cultural evolution when you cannot even use "now/know" properly? :)

Don’t get me wrong, I agree with your thoughts as I have a sort of ‘thing’ about money creation and the financial system which I have studied in detail over many years. But trying to convince others is about as productive as trying to push a piece of string! The whole system is corrupt, political and financial and is already heading for the abyss. Both serve the self interests of the few.

Your biggest problem is apathy! People are not interested in making the sacrifices that would be necessary to change from the existing system to a new order. If you were to be even remotely near being successful........ you are a dead man. (The US has made over a 100 attempts to kill Castro because he bucked the establishment.) The system HAS to collapse first. It was almost there in 2008 but a few billions/trillions of dollars created out of thin air by the FED and fed into the global banking system, saved them. Since then nothing has changed and it will happen again.

The monetary system and the route to changing the global banking and financial systems, is fairly straight forward and has been argued about in several threads on this forum. But people that can see what is wrong and what is coming as a result, are very much in the minority and regarded as ‘Conspiracy Theorists’ and nut cases who don’t have a clue what they are talking about.

In the UK ,Brexit could give the British a chance to change the system ...... but don’t hold your breath! :(

A nice thought but it is a Utopian dream.

(Look at some of the threads here regarding Money/Brexit etc. it may show you just some of the attitudes you have to overcome to turn an idea into a reality.)
