Had we welcome refugees, Yusra would have been living among us now. Instead, we are stuck with the ugly face of church, elam, nationalists, etc.

An interesting story as are the stories of millions more refugees but nowhere in the report is mention of wanting to settle in Cyprus .So I am slightly bemused as to why you have posted it.

Quite possibly Lordo. But reading various reports regarding the settlement of refugees in Cyprus it seems that very few want to settle in Cyprus , mainly preferring the "richer" pickings of the western European countries.

Just out of interest (and I don't want this to start another arguement) what is the trnc stance on accepting refugees

exactly. This is what we should be doing. When someone is in need, we must help.

They do not want to stay here coz of the barbaric way we treat them. If she had settle to cyprus she would have had no chance to go to swimming pool, she would have been detained in Kofinou.

Yeah, you're such a humanitarian that you want of all countries Turkey to “guarantee” Cypriots!

Using your superior intellect you figured that the guaranteed incessant slaughter of Kurds, combined with the guaranteed extermination of Gulenists, and guaranteed disposal of all other critics/undesirables was solid evidence of guaranteed action against your own people… the Cypriots!

You should change your alias to “Mr Guarantee”...

Or maybe just pezevenk will do...

Humanist and humanism is one thing, humanitarianism is another. You are confused.

I dont want guarantees from Turkey, but they are necessary unless we sort things out so as TC are safe from GC's nationalism. GC terrorist organisations are in the Parliament, so TC really need guaranties.

Have you ever visited Kofinou refugee camp? Go there and find out yourself.
