Just joined as I love Cyprus having been holidaying on the island for the past ten years.
I have a bit of a dilemma, that I'm hoping maybe someone may be able to help/advise on.
I always hire a car when I come,which is fine,however next year I will be getting married in protaras area,and my son who will be 20 his girlfriend and their baby will be coming along.
He would like to rent a car,however I hit a dead end as it says no rentals to under 25 or under 21 with licence 3 years, he got his licence in November 2014 so it looks unlikely he will be able to hire anything. Ive asked a couple of companies so far and both said no.
This makes it difficult as choosing a villa that is more special for the wedding is limited as we will have to stay within walking distance of the main areas,so they can get around on foot, as there won't be space in a normal car for everyone, I looked at the price of a vehicle similar to zafira and the rental is excessive compared to a normal car, I just wondered if there was anywhere that would rent him even the smallest car just to get around, and transport to the wedding venue etc, as I don't seem to be having any luck
