I absolutely hate erdogan and everything he stands for. He has truely brain washed the backward Turkish element in turkey. My view is that most simple people and those that gain out of the situation will back him. Those who are slightly smaller minority who are desperate to bring back real democracy unfortunately may not succeed. Erdogan has abused and manipulated democracy to his gain. There is no real democracy in turkey which is why I ask this question which is the better evil. Erdogan bull shit democracy or the attempted military coup to restore democracy but more secular bull shit democracy ? My choice out of both the bull shit democracy would be secular but that would come at a price as well and those in charge will only do exactly what erdogan does but this time against the conservative Islamic Turks. So basically they are as bad as each other. The truth is turkey has not developed in its thinking who ever gets into government because there is no middle ground or true strive for democracy. If there was Cyprus problem would have been sorted long time ago.

Latest reports sadly indicate the coup may have failed. Complete disaster as it will ensble Erdocunt to take all sorts of steps to cement his hold on power.

I must say this poses a big problem for Cyprus now. Erdocunt will now think he is the new caliphate leader of the Middle East and is untouchable. Why the fuck did they not assassinate the cunt

I would not be surprised if the whole coup attempt was orchestrated by Erdogan to gain more power to become the supreme leader. He is master of deception and "false flag".

Actually, I was hoping that I'm wrong.

What are you hearing, other than what's on the TV?

As I monitor "Flightradar24", there are hardly any flights coming or leaving Istanbul and Ankara airports, which the news said that Istanbul airport was open for business as of early this morning. Antalya and Izmir airports seems to be busy.
