If I am not mistaken, with the BRITISH SOVEREIGN areas Now OUT of the EU, and the EU admitting that they have NO Effective control over the Territory of the TRNC, according to my calculations and Turkey's laughing politicians, that makes the island of Cyprus left in EU control as a MINORITY!!!!

looks like it's bye bye to any Turkish Cypriot or British participation in the current talks with a united Cyprus under EU control. Isn't it hillarious that Britain and Turkey, Two of the three remaining Cyprus guarantor powers, are both not backing a Future United Cyprus within the EU!

The EU and the RoC never had any effective control over the criminal, occupied areas, nothing new, so you have no case.

Obviously every Greek Cypriot dismissing the existence and historical reasoning for the TRNC, and whom believes that the Cyprus problem started in 1974 and NOT 1955.

As for the EU, here it is in plain and simple English. ONLY the Greek Cypriot administered side is part of the EU and Turkey doesn't give a damn about it, nor the EU, where any solution to the Cyprus problem is either one that allows the existence of Two autonomous and self governing states based on equality, or it'll remain like how it is for another 100 years until the population of the North is completely replaced with people from Turkey, or Turkey will annex it.......which would see a Turkish population flooding the TRNC of 2million plus!

It's important for the Greek Cypriots to understand that Turkey truly doesn't care about Mustafa Akinci and his liberal policies, nor of the current Federal based initiative as she knows it'll never materialise.

Thus, Turkey will eventually assimilate the TRNC very soon. Watch this space as a referendum for this will happen.
