Apparently all the white-collar jobs are reserved for EU citizen only. And that I can only work as delivery boy or clean houses.

I feel the love Cyprus. I feel it.

As if I would get treated like royalty if I were to try my luck in *your* country!
And I can say that with relative safety without even knowing your country of origin because I’ve had my fair share of traveling so I’ve seen how foreigners are treated in *all* countries.
You know, people come to this “little island of a dozen problems” thinking they’re gonna find Los Vegas or something where the jobs are aplenty and the pay generous!
But if you want BIG you should move to a BIG country like I did when I was young… try Canada, the US, Australia, etc, but don’t come to a little island expecting miracles.

So what are my chances of getting white collar work in Manila, given that I don’t speak Filipino and am a Mediterranean looking foreigner?
Get Real! wrote:But how on Earth am I going to answer the company phone if a good percentage of those calls are in Filipino?
Is it not a liability?
