My wife and her combined force of sisters have to visit the Nicosia Income Tax Office with bin bags full of cash and has volunteered me to act as the security truck driver to the family

If anyone knows how to get there from the A1(Limassol Nicosia highway) or from the House of Representitives I shall be grateful for directions. Thank You.

When you get to Nicosia’s first set of traffic lights called “Kalisperas” (established part of Nicosia with tall buildings, not the industrial part) turn LEFT and drive all the way straight for 2-3km until you reach a T junction. Don’t stop until there’s a T junction.

By now you’ll be in Strovolos and the Strovolos Police will be on your right… and RIGHT is where you should turn at the T junction’s traffic lights.

Drive straight for 1-2km until you reach the roundabout with the presidential palace being on your left. Take the LEFT artery at this roundabout and keep driving straight.

At this point pull over and ask a local for specific directions because you’ll be very close and there are many (tricky) ways to get to the tax office.

The thing to remember is that the Tax office is in the night club area that is opposite the Kikkos botanic garden… in case you need to refresh someone’s memory.
