That is like a man who can't get his dick up hiring somebody else to do the fucking, while he sits on a chair next to the bed and celebrates each time that the man he hired cums! Kinda pathetic... and it is not a big surprise that the most fanatic fans are the biggest kind of losers.

I can’t understand why some of you just can’t figure it out!
Football teams are just companies that employ people from all over the world so as to get the job done in tournaments and bring in the gold. In return they pay taxes to the government where the company is hosted/registered.
In the process hundreds of people find employment with these teams in a wide range of disciplines including reticulation systems, soils, fertilizers, catering, etc.
It’s a massive well organized entertainment business that is becoming more and more important to all governments every year and indeed Cyprus.
These days whether you support Red Star Belgrade, Real Madrid, or APOEL does not necessarily mean you come from that country any more for they’ve become like Rock bands where only the music matters but not so much their country of origin.
I say let them entertain and in the process income and jobs are generated!

Sotos wrote:Most football teams in Cyprus are broke and they own money and when they manage to make some money they spend them abroad to buy foreign players... but lets assume they are all profitable businesses. Why would you care that much? Are you celebrating when Lanitis Bros. or Muskita makes profits? Does it make you proud if someone else is making profits with his own business? The entertainment argument doesn't hold either because in that case you wouldn't care who won, all you would care about is how good the game was. And if country of origin doesn't matter why then would you support the local teams... you would support the teams that provide the best entertainment.... and you would change your preferences based on how entertaining each team is at any given time, you wouldn't always support the same teams. Being a fanatic supporter of any team when it is not really your team (i.e. you don't own any shares in the company) is stupid. And I don't mean that you are a fanatic... I am talking about all those losers who go to nearly every game jumping up and down like monkeys and then spend the rest of their week talking about football as if the business of somebody else is the most important thing that is happening in their lives.
