The result is not bad, but Apoel have lots of problems in defense.
Difficult to see them next round.

I noticed that Rosenborg only lasted for the first 60 minutes against APOEL even though it was a rainy day in Norway so in Nicosia’s 40 degree heat and 80% humidity they’ll probably only last for about 40 minutes before they collapse from fatigue!

Rosenborg also fell apart in the 2nd half against Norrkoping and conceded 3 goals in the away match.

On the basis of the above I expect most damage to be done by APOEL against Rosenborg in the 2nd half at the GSP.

APOEL must play more defensively in the first half and then go for the kill in the 2nd when the Norwegians will be exhausted.

APOEL can win 1-0 and qualify for next round.

There is a chemistry mismatch in APOEL's formation. In the first half they played very badly, but in the second half, after a couple of substitutions, they played much better.

I reckon APOEL should have signed up two new centre halves, instead of aging Carlao and that fool Astiz.

Rosenborg, is clearly not a 90 minute team but a first half team. They put all their energy into the first half to do the damage and then fall back from exhaustion.

For this reason I think APOEL has a very good chance to eliminate them if they are very careful during the first half hour not to concede a goal.

After that it should be easy pickings for APOEL in front of all their fans.
