Unlike you, I know my ancestors and I don't have to revise history to know I belong.

Re Tourkalla,

Thank God for recent genetic science proving time and time again what I’ve been saying for years… debunking Greek junk history books, with that which was common sense to a handful of us who *have* common sense!

You either got it upstairs or you don’t, and it’s as simple as that.

For starters, had I been Greek I would’ve had the same IQ as yours, Kurupet, and Yialoser… but how come we’re so different?

Explain that… Ayshe!

You do have a ...sense of humour, although lacking in manners and IQ.
Ignore him Ayshe

A 2016 study
http://investigativegenetics.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s13323-016-0032-8

It appears to me the conclusions tend to support GR rather more than "g"IG, and it may follow that "Greekness" is a historical cultural and linguistic imposition.

The Greek middle eastern markers "g"IG otherwise mentions are 7000 to 10000 years to late to be relevent.

There were people in Cyprus, with a culture and language of their own, before the first Greek ever arrived in Cyprus. Some time after the arrival of Greeks and Greek culture in Cyprus this previous people and culture ceased to exist. Think about it.

Yes, and historical records and now DNA migration studies show they were the same people.

And what are you talking about with regard to "ceased to exist"? There are no known discontinuities - there is a continuous culture that progressed as most do.

No they don't. They show that Cypriots and Levantines (Syrians, Druze, Lebanese, etc) are basically the same people.

No, it's saying that over 10,000 years ago or so, the people of this area were the same and then struck out. As I said, the people of Cyprus were the same as the people of Greece (from one tribe). They mixed and developed and re-mixed until we have the modern historical records which provide definitive proof that they shared a developing culture. More recent records show less mixing due to the rise of some religions. There are even tiny fragments of migratory DNA found in Spaniards for example and Cypriots and Christian Lebanese that were brought here about a thousand years ago by the Crusaders.

Even those you call Greeks are from many tribes.

Sorry, but don't know what you're talking about.

The man, the General that is, has totally lost it. RE MALAKA EN ANTREPESE , EGINES TO village idiot of the cy forum!

Shall I start another thread asking if the General is a fucking idiot ?

Go and talk about your views in the UK, and come and tell me if the majority Brits support your views. Go and speak to your local member in the UK and see whether he/she supports your views. Go and speak to Europeans, Canadians or Australians and see if they agree with your views that Assad should stay or whether the Coalitions intervention in Syria in support of Kurds and the SDF is correct and have a real good listen to what they have to say. Ask them if they support transition. All EU countries are batting on America's side on this. Only Russia and Iran on yours, and you would think you could work it out for yourself but alas you just don't have any faculties or are capable of common sense.

Listen old man! Your views are very STUPID as are the views of the other geriatric who spews his hysteria about Banking, money, and goodness knows what. It appears evident to me that as soon as someone ages, their minds are bent beyond repair. You drink too much piss and haven't done many puzzles or played chess it would seem, or kept an active lifestyle.

The fact you only got 7 votes, means that all other active members on this forum agree with my views to some extent but not all, which is fair enough.

What that means is that they do not support Assad like you do, or at least they respect the right of Sunnis (and all peoples and groups) to their fundamental rights to self determination and a future in Syria which you do not.

Of course, many Cypriots feel a little torn about it, but the underlying principle remains which they can not deny. Principles based on humanity and justice, not ethnic cleansing, debauchery, war crimes and persecution.

You support ethnic cleansing, debauchery, war crimes, injustice, and persecution and I support Human Rights and Justice for all, no matter what religion or creed.

Your Assad only represents 35% of Syria, and soon will only be left with 20% of Syria.

You swallowed all the propaganda hook and line, and yet it is the Coalition that the most quiet and yet the most in control around Raqqa, Northern Syria, Mosul and Fallujah.

I've been telling you to take a chill pill, but alas you didn't listen to me and made a complete dork of yourself. :(

Are you so fucking thick to see that NOBODY shares your stupid views. One vote, your vote Plonker, now stop being so fucking stupid and accept that you are totally wrong. You go on about human rights blah blah, listen plonker nobody on this forum shares your views, get it in your head.

Assad and only Assad can return Syria back to peace, back to where it once was until the naïve and rather stupid western leaders decided that he does not serve their purpose and begun supporting the 100 plus fucking jihadist groups.

Do you really think that if Assad stepped down by some fucking miracle these jihadists will establish law and order and peace, if you do then you more stupid than I took you for, to quote your very own words " sometimes is better to have dictators like Gadhafi, Assad , Sadam " These people are not ready for democracy, they are too brainwashed too affected with the Allah virus. Kill and be killed, life does not matter to them, they value death more than life, do you understand ?
