The 'leave' vote was primarily about preventing 80 Million Turks (99% of whom are Muslims) from having a right of entry into the UK. There is no problem with most people about Europeans entering UK - their concerns were about a non-EU country like Turkey having freedom of movement.

Let's face it Tim, there were ignorants who voted for the wrong reasons from both sides.
You haven't told us why you voted to stay though. Was it just for your personal interests?

Both me and RH supported the view that staying is better and our reasoning was that the country or countries that would opt to abandon the EU would pay a huge price partly as a measure of revenge from the EU and partly because of self isolation. It would be better for all to wait for the final collapse of the EU, whenever that day comes. It will come, neither Greece or Spain or Portugal or Italy or Cyprus are ever going to surface. It's a matter of time before the EU collapses.The UK has just been too hasty.

The 'leave' vote was primarily about preventing 80 Million Turks (99% of whom are Muslims) from having a right of entry into the UK. There is no problem with most people about Europeans entering UK - their concerns were about a non-EU country like Turkey having freedom of movement.

If so, that was another lie. There is no prospect of Turkish citizens having free movement in the EU at any time in the near future.

Strange. I thought I had discussed that at great length in the run up to the referendum. At the moment I see my country having been plunged into chaos and appearing almost certain to split up, and I am more concerned about this at the moment. And the only thing we hear from the far right, which was behind this whole thing, is that they are now confessing that all their claims were lies, which makes me pretty furious.

I hate to say it, but all the research that has been done show that it was the young that voted remain and the old that voted leave; the educated that voted remain and the uneducated that voted leave; the employed that voted remain and the unemployed that voted leave; the higher social classes that voted remain and the lower social classes that voted leave - so I think I have some justification for saying that the votes of the ignorant went to leave, or in sufficient numbers to swing it. And it was because of the far right stoking up racism.

You see ..... negative again. So you get idiots every where! I listen to so called experts on banking and cringe at some of the things they say. They may know the bookwork but they don't have a clue about what happens before they start moving numbers on the books. What needs to be done is to educate people and/or make some sort of qualification necessary before they are allowed to vote .......... or breed, come to that. But the last thing the 'elite' want is an educated populace because if people become informed on how they operate, how their system works, they would not last five minutes, blood would run in the gutters.

Let me give YOU an example. HSBC Investment Banking are pulling out of The City and going to Paris or Frankfurt. TV reports ".......horror of horrors, they are so important to the UK economy". Are they? Are they really? They don't create anything of substance, they are little more than a posh betting shop and I have yet to meet a poor bookie!

You asked what plan I could come up with ..... it's already happening! The regulators will now hopefully start breaking the link between commercial banks and casino (Investment Banks) by moving the risk to Europe. These banks will no longer be able to access your money to gamble with and make you an unsecured creditor when the bank wobbles and falls over. They will have to stand on their own. These banks line their pockets when the going is good and create lots of numbers, then become real socialists over night when their gambling goes pear shaped and they need bailing out. The more of these casino banks that pull out, the stronger the real economy will become.

The UK now has a chance to lead this change ..... because it will happen eventually anyway ...... no Ponzi scheme has ever survived, eventually they all crash. If you don't accept that then you are flying blind in a tunnel of ignorance!

There is to be a meeting on the 30 June between Turkey and the EU to open the chapter on finance and duscuss the accelerated accession and gisa free travel for Turks. This was with held by the stay camp during the referendum. Both Cameron and the EU soght to deceive the British public. The was revealed in a televised interview with Ian Duncan Smith.
In my opinion the uk made the right choice and time will tell.

B25, if and when Turkey gets the visa liberation for the Turks from the EU, it ONLY covers the Schengen areas which does not include the UK since they are not part of the Schengen agreement, just like Cyprus is not, therefore, such visa liberation for the Turks did not impact the UK negatively.
